They want to go back and forth, they are of no use, but they don’t clean up the trash on time, they start cleaning up before the guests have left, and they’re obviously in a hurry to go home. At the initial appointment, the doctor conducts an examination (in our case it was quite superficial, it seemed to me) and prescribes procedures with a schedule for their completion. The procedures were organized very clearly, the appointment time was always respected, if necessary, it was possible to reschedule the appointment if you went to the reception in advance. Mud pool, mud envelopes, thermal pool, currents, lasers, massages, etc., plenty of everything. If you wish, you can also buy some, for example, I really fell in love with the mud pool in “Irma” (this is a separate balneocomplex at Thermia Palace) and bought myself several additional visits for 15 euros each (this is a mud pool 10 minutes + thermal pool 10 minutes and 20 minutes dry wrap). The hotel has an excellent swimming pool with water of 33 degrees and a good sauna and wet steam room, a jacuzzi with water of 35-36 degrees, as well as an outdoor pool 25 meters long with warm water, you can swim to your heart's content! My stay in Piestany really invigorated me, I hope to come here in the future.

The price includes a certain average package, which also contains some that are not particularly necessary, but for an additional fee, you can also buy all sorts of mud and hydrogen sulfide ones. I would like to note some inflexibility of the receiving doctor in requests to replace procedures. It is clear that the sanatorium needs to make money, and it unwillingly exchanges physical education for dirt. But it would be nice if each procedure was assigned points and you would know that, for example, 5 charging procedures you can exchange for one dirt for free. You can do exercises at home and you won’t find such dirt! An important aspect is nutrition. We went, being disappointed in advance with the food, having read the reviews, especially those for whom there was no porridge. So, I would like to point out that we were in vain to set ourselves up like that. Firstly, the restaurant itself is bright, and the tables are set with new starched napkins for every meal. The staff is friendly and cheerful. Well, sometimes a little shy. Now about the food. The choice of dishes is good. Solidly good. Not great, since there are no shrimp, octopus and other Mediterranean delights, but the traditions here are completely different. But! Every day for lunch and dinner the main courses included three or four types of meat. This means that at the same time there was pork and beef and chicken, and always local fish. All this was, naturally, prepared in different ways. In addition, there were all sorts of casseroles, pastas, potatoes in various forms, rice, stewed cabbage, etc. These are the main dishes. In addition to them, there was always a wide assortment of salads, cold cuts, excellent local cheeses of all kinds, apples, other fruits, as well as 2-4 types of different cakes. Excellent local dry wines at 12 euros per bottle were also an important component of the treatment procedures. Naturally, the hot dish that was for lunch was not repeated at dinner! In short, the food didn’t make me sad. The soups were a bit disappointing. It would be desirable to improve them. For each dinner and lunch, two types of soups were offered. Well, the breakfasts are standard, as in all mediocre hotels in the world.

If you didn’t like some procedure and you don’t want it anymore, go to the doctor, they will listen to you and unquestioningly change everything, unless, of course, you order yourself five thermal baths a day, everything is within reason. I went to the doctor three times, changed both the procedures and the time. They meet you halfway without any problems. 2. You cannot be late for procedures. For some reason, according to our Russian habit, everyone thinks that five or ten minutes does not solve anything. Then they are indignant that the staff refused to accept them. There is resort etiquette, it is the same for everyone. Your negligence ruins the entire day's record of other people who are not required to wait. The last piece of advice: if you don’t like something, don’t be silent, voice your complaints to the staff, preferably in the correct form. You will definitely be heard. Then they said that there really was a problem and it would take more time to solve than they thought and, wanting not to create inconvenience, they offered us to move to another room of a higher class, without any additional payments. I also advise that all questions, if they arise, be resolved with the representative of the Sanatorium in Piestany, the wonderful girl Veronica, thank you very much for her participation. Reading the reviews on the website, I was worried about the quality and range of food, but we were satisfied with this important aspect of our stay at the sanatorium. And if something is wrong, for example, cold porridge, then the staff will quickly offer you hot porridge at your request. It should be noted that everything is very subjective. My husband was “raised on pure butter” and knows how to cook well himself - he was pleased. By the way, many of the “patients” we met here are also “old-timers”, for example, grandparents from Austria have been coming here for 20 years, one man from Holland for 15 years, and a grandfather from Australia (! !!) has been making an annual trip for 9 years now. So it helps if people go year after year. We come mainly for the mud and thermal treatments, but the others are also good. Now, regarding the food, many in the reviews are indignant, and this is not so and this is not enough, it seems that they grew up not in the “scoop”, but in a royal palace. Yes, the choice of dishes may not be very large, but everything is very tasty prepared, we always return home +5 kg. Doctors are not specialists. We were not checked, but simply asked what we wanted to treat. We visited several doctors. Same. Everyone is prescribed standard procedures. I had been to other sanatoriums and knew what I needed. You can’t get dirt every other day, the standard is 2 times a week. You can only buy more (quite expensive). Same thing with the mineral pool. Breakfast is not bad, but lunch and dinner are just terrible. In 18 days (36 lunches and dinners), I had good-tasting food no more than 5 times. The choice is very small, there are very few salads, mainly grated carrots and boiled beets. Tomatoes for breakfast. For dinner it’s usually what we didn’t eat for lunch with some extras.
