The hotel has a very good location in Karlovy Vary, the beds were very comfortable for us. The staff was very helpful with everything. What was very disadvantageous for us was that almost no one spoke little to no German or English. Fortunately, there is more at reception. Some girls in service can be friendlier, at least put a smile on your face even if you don't talk. The bathroom in the room itself didn't work, [showers and stuff like that] which was a shame. What we also miss is that the staff don't wear names on their clothes, we find that more personal to talk to instead of shouting hello, maybe an idea.

We rested for the second time at the “English Court”. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the colonnade and at the same time a quiet street surrounded by greenery. We went to this sanatorium for the first time and were a little apprehensive. But, as it turned out, it was in vain. The sanatorium is very cozy, clean, recently renovated. We got a small room, at the end of the building, with a view of the stairs leading up the mountain, and we even wanted to change it at first, but the hotel was full and they couldn’t offer us anything better. A couple of days later, however, we appreciated its advantages: it faced the side where the sun is only a couple of hours in the morning and not direct (in hot weather this factor can become critical); plus, compared to other rooms, ours was relatively quiet at any time of the day. I would especially like to mention the food. Despite the limited choice of food, all the guests we spoke with, and ourselves, were very pleased with the quality of the food. This was our seventh visit to Karlovy Vary, we stayed in both four-star and five-star hotels, but here the food was perhaps the most delicious. Great respect to the cook! The location of the hotel is very convenient for those who like to combine walks in the resort area and visits to the springs (garden and mill colonades - 3 and 7 minutes walk, respectively, on flat terrain) with access to the forest, mountains, as well as forays into the city, where There are many interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The location was perfect for us. The staff turned out to be very friendly and caring; as a result, we got to know all the staff. In the evening we like to drink tea in the room, but there were no electric kettles in the rooms. So every day at the reception they gave us a thermos of boiling water. Very dramatic. The hotel allows small pets. We have a dachshund dog, and for us this factor was very important.Negatives
The repair of the underground pipeline in front of the hotel was a little annoying. Thank God the workers didn’t come too early and let the guests sleep. I would also like to advise the hotel staff to somehow come to an agreement with the garbage men and caterers so that they don’t make noise in the morning. Unfortunately, the Hotel and the Sanatorium are two different organizations. And the quality of their service is completely different. The work of the hotel and restaurant is positive, but the service from the Sanatorium needs to be much better. The employees are not friendly and not professional. I bought the Evening Prague excursion for 79 euros, but I was not on the list, which resulted in a disgusting incident and extreme stress on the part of the Sanatorium workers. The workers not only did not want to take part in solving the problem, but also behaved rudely and aggressively towards me for my 79 euros!!!! It also turned out that I had to order a paid transfer on the way back. My flight was at 20:20, and they decided to provide me with a transfer at 18:20, just when my plane was already taking off. There are no professionals in this intermediary organization. They see clients only as a means to make money. The workers have no human factor at all! They present it beautifully on the website as it should be, but in fact there is no such picture in life. The sanatorium or rather its employees ruined my vacation. I will never use their “services” again, one might say “bearish”, I will book a hotel directly with treatment directly. Cheaper and nicer.
