I’ve been to Karlovy Vary several times, but this was my first time at the Bristol Palace in the fall, in October. The impression was quite good. As stated regarding nutrition: there was a diet and a pretty decent one. Regarding treatment: I would be completely satisfied if more procedures were done manually, rather than with devices. I would like to mention the gas injection nurse Rosana, a highly qualified specialist! I got real manual lymphatic drainage only on the last day before leaving. The doctor and all the medical staff are very attentive to the vacationers. What is also important, I think, is that there is a laboratory on site. Overall, I recommend this sanatorium-hotel.Negatives
The treatment offered by the hotel also stated oncology rehabilitation. Which in reality did not happen. The doctor explained this moment as “they forgot to take it off...”. And for me, this was the key point in choosing a hotel. But I still don’t regret choosing him.

Very nice room (apartment), cozy and bright. The hotel itself has been renovated. The pool is large, the water is cool, but if you swim, you quickly warm up. Very good cuisine, choice of dishes, quality of products. Good treatment program, very good physiotherapist (extra charge, but worth it). I was confused by the attitude of the restaurant administrator (the lady and one of the ladies at the reception (a Czech woman with an arrogant attitude and a complete reluctance to help). In 15 years of constant travel, this definitely hasn’t happened. And if the reception has changed, then the lady from the restaurant is something different . It’s very unpleasant when on vacation at your own expense, when they talk to you like that! In general, if it were a restaurant not attached to a hotel, it’s unlikely that anyone would go there a second time, having encountered rudeness. Although, again, the cuisine and service are good . The sauna is a bit cramped. Now it’s not a minus, but a specificity: you need to walk a lot for procedures, perhaps in the summer you can go through the park, and not along endless corridors. Walking is good for me, so there was no minus. A very good vacation with the goal of treating health, but for I don’t recommend it for small children (Karlovy Vary is not for families with children.) The pros outweigh the cons.

The hotel rooms are old, we took an apartment room, in the bathroom the door jamb was simply rotten, i.e. Just a hole!!! Savings in everything! The Internet is very bad - take it for money, they told us, they simply don’t offer cardiograms and tests anymore, only if you ask, although this is included in the package of services, in the dining room, as always, it’s terror, even though the hotel was half empty, the tables are free, you’re still welcome They seat 4 people at a table, even if you ask to be seated at a double table, the answer is the same - everything is occupied, sit where they told you! Disgusting lady works as a restaurant manager! On the day of departure we were deprived of lunch, it’s not allowed! Although on the day of arrival, when it was supposed to, we didn’t get to lunch, the arrival was late, we also refused to go on excursions in advance and warned that we wouldn’t be there! The quality of the food leaves much to be desired! You order from the menu, the food is absolutely tasteless, the soups are like slop! They are also trying to shorten the procedures, we were alone with our son, instead of the required 26, they gave him 21, I was given 25, when I counted, I had to go to the doctor again and ask to add my own procedures! Cleaning the room is purely symbolic! The lady just bursts in to do the cleaning, it doesn’t matter that you’re resting, she just unceremoniously walks in and starts wiping away the dust! The price of this hotel does not justify the quality of the services provided at all!!! TERRIBLE

In winter it gets dark very early, but this is the climate, so there was much less time to admire the Czech Republic, such beautiful places.
