As for the restaurant (its cuisine), the chef is an excellent “army cook”. The fact that his team prepares breakfasts and dinners for a large number of visitors deserves a positive assessment. As for the quality of portioned lunch dishes, the responsibility and professionalism of this cook fraternity is ZERO! Perhaps this state of affairs suits the hotel management. Cleaning of the room turned out to be irregular, but this, in particular, took into account the fact that those being treated and those cleaning could not get on schedule with each other. The lunches are quite strange both in composition and in the manner of ordering. It is better to use the “tomorrow” ordering method. The rooms, although comfortable, feel like they are “retro” and need updating and at least minor repairs - the handles on the balcony doors are made “in the opposite direction” and are loose, the lock to the bathroom is also made “in the opposite direction” - locksmiths should go through the numbers and fix minor flaws. For some time, there was a “shortage” of medical staff. The procedures - although not always complex - were carried out (sometimes on three fronts) by the technical employees of the balneo. But in general, the organization and work of the medical staff is clear and qualified.

We believe that you can turn on vacuum cleaners from 8 am, but not from 6 am. It’s a long day and people are sleeping soundly in the morning; there’s no need to disturb them early. No carbon dioxide baths. Gas bags are applied to half the body and last only 20 minutes. In other sanatoriums there is a gas bag for the whole body. And time up to 45 minutes for the same money. Gas injections, for which many actually come here, must be prescribed at least 8 procedures and problem areas should be injected more seriously; this should be prescribed by the doctor at the first examination. He misses this serious point and has to work it out on his own with the nurses. The doctor’s attitude towards patients is very superficial. The extensive Czech experience allows us to solve these problems. In general, everything is fine. Do not consider my comments biased; the holiday with treatment is simply good. Thank you. One of the minuses is the appointment of a drinking course. The doctor simply prescribed 1 liter of water per day. The Russian language is not very clear, I thought the card would say in more detail about the drinking rate, which is why we all mainly come there, but Alas!!! Warm or cold, before or after meals???!!! We figured this out ourselves through trial and error. The doctor comes for a maximum of one hour as vacationers arrive. No matter how hard we tried to get a second consultation, we were unable to do so. The food leaves much to be desired. Of course we weren’t hungry, there was a sufficient choice of dishes. But everything is salted, peppered and with vinegar. Soups are a separate topic, what they don’t add there!!! And a mess of flour to boot.

This was my first time staying at the Bohemia Hotel and I knew about some of its advantages even before my arrival, because... I have already been to Marianske Lazne in other hotels. The first is the excellent location in the center of the resort, the hotel building is beautiful in appearance... I liked the generally friendly attitude of the staff, very high quality, balanced food, not very varied, but you could always choose something from the dishes offered. The hotel's medical staff was not always equally friendly to guests. The nurse could reprimand for a slight delay in the procedure and shorten its time, although there were not many vacationers (I vacationed in the low season, in January) and there was no line of people waiting. Of course, the lack of a swimming pool is not in favor of the hotel, although the building is old and organizing one there is probably not easy.
