We, as beginners, were not offered the full range of treatment procedures. We got along with the bare minimum, quite meagerly. The procedures were scattered at different times with my husband, so it was not possible to practically take any excursions.

This is the third time I visited the Grand Spa Lietuva in Druskininkai. The Druskininkai Hotel meets almost all my requirements. Very convenient location, comfortable, clean rooms with daily change of towels. Very pleasant service staff throughout the complex. Quite tasty and varied food.Negatives

The biggest disappointment: 3 days before the end of my course, it was announced that there was no healing mud (!) for which, in principle, I came. A replacement with a bath was proposed, which in fact turned out to be completely unequal. As a result, I lost 2 mud baths out of 6. The doctor was guided only by complaints (my question is her answer) There was no additional information, for example, how to drink medicinal water correctly, what other options are available the sanatorium is specifically for me. I didn’t like that there were families with dogs living nearby in other rooms. Probably the dogs were left unattended, because they barked continuously, one even ran along the corridor and jumped on my feet. I have nothing against animals, but don’t force me to love other people’s dogs. There were cases when in the evenings and mornings there were no disposable cups in the pump room with mineral water

Complete Deception! The price was paid for accommodation and food at the level of a 4* hotel. In reality, lunches and dinners did not even correspond to the level of 3*. The food was disgusting, there were queues for distribution, and at times there was no bread. Having paid for full board, we sometimes had to eat in local cafes and restaurants due to queues and overcrowding. A shame for an EU member country.

We (2 travelers) booked the “Antiallergic” room category in the 4-star spa hotel “Druskininkai” (Grand SPA Lietuva complex) for 11 days/nights (full board / 5 healing treatments per day and person). Hotel staff: We received a very friendly welcome from the hotel staff upon arrival and were treated very friendly and professionally throughout our stay. Communication with the staff was in Russian. Alternatively, English can also be spoken. When you arrive at the hotel, you only need to present the booking confirmation you received from Sanatoriums.com. The hotel kindly printed out the boarding passes for the return flight for us free of charge (send boarding passes for the return flight to the hotel by email requesting a printout). Room: Although our room on the ground floor faced the street, we never had any complaints about noise. We had our healing treatments during the day, but in the evening there was hardly anything going on in the “sleepy” town anyway. Every now and then a coach with arriving guests drove up. Otherwise it was generally quiet. At this point we only rate the double room in the “Antiallergic” room category: The room was cleaned daily. The staff replaced the bath towels with fresh bath towels every day. The bathrobes and bed linen were changed every third day. The air-conditioned room has a small minibar with drinks and snacks, which can be consumed at an additional cost. Overall the room was in perfect condition. Food/Dining: Breakfast, lunch and dinner were rich and balanced every day of our stay. For example, if you would like to be served fried eggs at breakfast, these can be freshly prepared upon request. What was particularly positive was that the dishes weren't overly salty. Breakfast was served in the dining room of the Hotel “Druskininkai”, while lunch and dinner were served in the dining room of the Hotel “Lietuva” (both hotels belong to the same hotel complex: Grand SPA Lietuva). Medical treatments: Assuming that medical treatments are only offered on weekdays, we only booked 11 days/nights (from Monday August 16th to Friday August 27th). In fact, the Druskininkai Hotel also offers medical treatments on Saturdays and Sundays. With this in mind, it would have been better to book 14 days/nights. We booked 5 healing treatments per day per person, so that we were well utilized throughout the day. Alternatively, you can book 2 or 3 treatments per day and person. The mineral water spring (drinking cure) is located in the courtyard of the hotel complex. The drinking cure is included in the price. The mineral water from the spring should not be drunk pure, but rather diluted with pure water. The spectrum of healing treatments ranges from various baths (mineral bath, mud bath) to water aerobics and drainage applications. Our favorite was the mud bath (duration: 30 minutes per session). The massages were also very pleasant and relaxing (1 session lasts 15 minutes). You usually take 2 massage sessions one after the other (duration: 30 minutes). For an additional charge, we have also booked source gas therapy (healing gas injection) on site. Overall, the physio team was professionally competent. Transfer from airport to hotel and back: We booked a one-way transfer from Kaunas Airport to Hotel Druskininkai (price: total €75 per trip for 2 adults). After our arrival at Kaunas airport, the driver was waiting for us with our name tag, so we didn't have to look for the driver for long. The drive to the hotel took about 1.5 hours. All of our questions were answered by email from the Sanatoriums.com team within 24 hours. We received the flight tickets or boarding passes via email as a PDF document approximately 24 hours before departure. Our impression: Sanatoriums.com is a reputable and competent travel provider.
