The sanatorium is simply fabulous. There is no feeling that you are in a medical institution. The excellent design, thoughtfulness and functionality of the interiors and the spa and treatment areas are conducive not only to harmonious relaxation, but also to solving long-standing health problems. Everything is in its place, convenient. The nutrition is beyond praise; you could build your diet depending on both the required calorie content and the required diet. Very clean linen, bathrobes, towels, room cleaning is regular and of high quality. The well-groomed territory of the sanatorium was conducive to long stays in the fresh air. And there’s nothing to say about the surrounding nature - visiting EGLE was fabulous! In less than 10 days of staying at the sanatorium, we managed to significantly improve our vitality and meet interesting people.Negatives
Due to the excellent cuisine of the sanatorium, we gained several kilograms in weight. Among the nuances of accommodation with a minus sign, we would note the insufficient soundproofing of the rooms and the lack of ventilation in the room. I would like larger pillows and actually a double bed (for spouses). We won’t name names, but there were those among the staff who performed the procedures not very well (primarily this concerns massage - including underwater).

Treated the spine. After two weeks of treatment there is a lasting positive result. Excellent therapeutic massage (with hands) - Rasa Urbonavisiene. The doctor prescribed 9 massages in 13 days. This was enough, I didn’t have to buy anything else. Gymnastics in the pool and vertical baths every other day helped a lot. And besides this, there is a sufficient number of different procedures. The room was located on the second floor, in the same place as the treatment rooms and the dining room, which was very convenient. The room did not have a balcony. There are 5-6 rooms without a balcony in the entire building, I got one of them, although the place was booked half a year in advance. But the good location and the ability to dry swimsuits in the bathroom smoothed out this drawback. Towels were changed daily, robes and bed linen were changed frequently. The staff, doctors, nurses are polite and helpful, and often caring. The food is excellent: fresh, very varied, always in abundance, no matter what time a person comes to the dining room. You can improve your health even just by eating at this sanatorium. The sanatorium is located in a very picturesque, huge pine forest, in which health trails and bicycle paths are laid. There are diagrams of these paths, and bicycle rentals are available 24 hours a day. I already recommend the sanatorium to my relatives and friends. But: 1) There is no sea nearby. Swimming pool and baths 3-4 times a day are compensated. You can sunbathe near the lake 2) The loads at first seem excessive, but later they seem normal. A particularly unpleasant impression was left by the so-called “fruits”, which were spoiled apples and grapes. And this is in the month of July! Unfortunately, the beds have not very good mattresses and disgusting pillows. But the sanatorium treats diseases of the spine and joints. I was surprised by the lack of air conditioning in the room. Fortunately, there was no heat during our stay - otherwise we could have suffocated.

Everything was great from the first moment of our arrival at Vilnius airport, from the meeting to arrival at the sanatorium, accommodation, although the room was not quite what we wanted, overlooking the pine forest. Next, an appointment with the doctor, special thanks for understanding our state of health and help in drawing up a treatment plan. We had absolutely everything we wanted. The forest is stunning, the air is sterile, filled with aromas, strawberries, here and there blueberries and even mushrooms. Dry, although there was a lot of rain, but this was not an obstacle to walking. For the people a lot, but no one bothers each other, but only helps, especially in the first days. The procedures are carried out strictly according to the schedule, extremely politely and with an understanding of what you need. You could always change the procedures and pay extra for the extra if you want. Despite the difficulties of the flights If our health allows, we will definitely go next year.

The maids are disgusting. Either they didn’t leave a single towel, or a small robe, or they took away some dishes. The cleaning is done poorly, and for the last three days they haven’t cleaned or changed anything at all. The smoking areas made a negative impression. It’s good that there is a roof, since the weather was rainy, but it’s impossible to be inside, it’s like some kind of gas chamber. You should at least leave the front wall open.

We lived above the reception, no WiFi, a couple of bars at most. Poor sound insulation, snoring and conversations behind the wall can be heard quite well. For those who are light sleepers, ask for windows overlooking the pool, our windows were facing the forest, constant arrivals and departures created a lot of noise from 5 in the morning. You should not expect any special effect from 15 minute massages; if the massage is listed on the card for 30 minutes, please note that this will be counted as two procedures.
