On the penultimate day I was approached by a chambermaid who said that I had soiled a towel and smoked in the room. Neither of which was true. I was very upset. She said if I got caught I would get a fine, but she wouldn't rat me out! She wanted money from me.

Fewer staff understand Russian, but they don’t even speak English; the language of communication has become German (even at the welcome meeting, where the majority were Russian, there was not a single hotel employee who understood Russian, this is the case with our 8-fold stay visiting the hotel for the first time)! The turnover of personnel in SPA is not in the direction of improving qualifications. In the restaurant, most of the food is over-salted (we talk about this every year), which is not compatible with the principles of healthy eating - they are emphasized this year, but this contradiction causes cognitive dissonance in our medical education. There are no quality standards in the restaurant every day: there are days when the food is prepared from yesterday's leftovers (usually snacks and baked goods). Regarding the transfer from sanatorium.com: for the first time we traveled in a crowded minibus from Marianske Lazne through Karlovy Vary to Prague; We understand that this minibus is considered an 8-seater, but in reality there are not 2, but 1.5 seats in the front row - this assumes two thin people, and what if there are none in this group?

In summer, the rooms can probably get hot, as there is no air conditioning. I would also like to have rugs in the bathrooms, since the wet floor is slippery. The pools are all the same depth of 135 cm, which is a problem for short people.

I recommend it to anyone who has problems with the musculoskeletal system. And good relaxation thanks to the spa zone and baths from the Alexander Spring. The initial placement in room 453 did not at all correspond to the order, which, by the way, was made six months before arrival in the hope that during this time it would be possible to find a convenient place to stay. Room 453, located on the top last floor of the hotel on the south side, is hot, the arrangement of furniture is inconvenient given the small area. All this does not contribute to a normal rest and shows a disrespectful attitude towards the client. Two days of staying in this room significantly spoiled our stay in Marianske Lazne.

It’s not the first time I’ve been relaxing in Marianske Lazne, but it’s my first time at the Grand MedSpa Marienbad hotel, the quality of treatment is good, the staff is polite, the food is excellent, but I didn’t like the placement of the tables, I sit down at the table but respected German vacationers come up here and I move to another with a smile place, and this has happened more than once, it’s better to assign each vacationer a place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, that’s probably the only negative.

We are staying at this hotel for the second time in a row in July. All good. This time we lived in a superior room in the KurPalas building. The building is quiet, you can't hear your neighbors at all. The room is quite spacious. Bathrobes were changed upon request. The treatment program consisted of 36 procedures over 2 weeks per person. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired. They clean up pretty bad. Bed linen is changed very rarely. Our linen was not changed for 6 days. And this is in temperatures above 30 degrees. I had to go to the reception. After that they changed it once. And then again they didn’t change it for a week. It's a shame because overall the hotel is very good.
