The treatment is quite varied, that is, it can be tailored to everyone according to their profile. The food deserves special praise: dietary, but very tasty, prepared with creativity, from very fresh and high-quality products. A definite plus is the pool in which you can swim, and not just sit, aqua gymnastics is performed in it. The sauna complex is the same advantage of this sanatorium. The rooms are quite comfortable, the cleaning is unobtrusive. There is an open terrace with a marvelous view, where you can relax, drink a cup of tea, or spend the evening with friends. Consider the location (you have to go uphill and quite a distance) if you are elderly or have serious health problems it may be difficult. But for everyone else, this is more of a plus than a minus.Negatives

Service on the terrace - it is not always possible to call the staff to order a drink, you have to go yourself and bring it from the dining room or bar.

We vacationed with children in June. Generally speaking, almost all hotels have reviews, both good and bad, no matter how many stars there are. And what’s most interesting is that the reviews are really truthful, for example, the negative ones, that the leftover cucumbers from breakfast can be used for lunch, and that the floors are creaking, and that someone didn’t consider the procedures, and a lot of other things are written by vacationers in their reviews. And in my opinion, this is a normal situation for hotels in Karlovy Vary, because... I actually had to deal with this in various hotels. I would just like to give advice not to make problems out of everything, but to enjoy life and enjoy the rest. Overall, our family liked the President Hotel. The children are happy. A big plus is that there is a buffet for lunch and dinner. All the information about the hotel on the website is real. For this hotel the prices are even very normal.

Treatment as such cannot be called, rather a course of supporting procedures: inhalations, paraffin on the hands (on the feet for an additional fee), massage bed, general massage, Scottish shower (Charcot), facial massage, etc. But this is not for everyone: many liked it. I just like more intense treatments and stronger massages.

Modern hotel with good rooms, beds, plumbing, modern lighting and TV. We liked the pool and steam rooms. The treatment rooms are also modern. We bought the full package, including 3 meals a day and 20 treatments each. All procedures, including massage, last 20 minutes. We usually started at 8 am, with a short break for breakfast, and by 11-12 we were already free. Because We rented a car at the airport in Prague, which is very cheap compared to KV, then we usually went around the surrounding area and didn’t have lunch at the hotel. I recommend calling the hotel in advance and reserving a space for your car in their garage. There are only five places. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the center, but on a side street, on a hill. We slept with the window open and there was no noise. The impression left was the most favorable.

purchased a package of procedures - they include many useless and cheapest procedures (aqua-gymnastics, paraffin and baths with plain water and hydromassage from the 80s). Eating at a hotel is a big disadvantage in that they use products that were not eaten for breakfast at lunch, not eaten at lunch for dinner, and the most unpleasant thing is that the next day they use products from yesterday's dinner. Procedures are selected at the minimum cost and scheduled for days - as you please. Nobody cares when you get up, drink water, have breakfast, lunch and also do *activity* procedures. But everyone knows for you that on Saturday and Sunday you are going on an excursion and the procedures are cancelled.

The only disadvantage of this hotel, in our opinion, is the schedule of procedures and their timing. Sometimes it's impossible to get to breakfast. We have to cancel something. From 8.00 there is aqua-gymnastics, then consecutive procedures until 10.00, just when breakfast ends. And don’t eat before aqua gymnastics. I would like procedures to be prescribed taking into account their need, and not just for quantity. Thank you!
