Again my wife and I were in Karlovy Vary and again stayed in Central, in the very center of the resort area. And the springs are nearby and the place is beautiful and there is no noise from tourists.. Friendly people. Cool restaurant and pool.

The hotel has a very good location - in the center, next to the theater, on a flat surface, and 2 minutes from the geyser (galleries with sources 1, 2, 3). The view from the window is very good - it lifts your spirits, it was a pleasure to be in the room. The room has comfortable beds, everything you need - kettle, minibar-fridge, safe, hairdryer. The heating works normally - it can be adjusted, the windows open well. We were quite satisfied with the food - a good breakfast buffet, for lunch and dinner, ordering from the menu + a small buffet. There are always cakes :) At the same time, you can choose more dietary dishes from the menu, which is often necessary for those coming for treatment. Treatment: the doctor is Russian, and this helps communication. The procedures were carried out strictly as intended. But the main treatment at the resort, it seems to me, is drinking mineral water. Of the nurses, I remember Ivanna - she works in physical education. office, a very delicate girl. I really liked the girl at the reception (unfortunately, I forgot her name) - she speaks Russian well and helped solve any problem. Also, in case of any problems in the room, a worker immediately came and fixed everything. There was almost no need to wait for waiters in the dining room during lunch and dinner - the order was brought right away.Negatives
There is a little negativity, but it doesn’t happen without it. The room has very strange pillows - wide and flat, you had to adapt to them. There is also not enough lighting in the room, and in the bathroom - there really isn’t enough light by the mirror (and a magnifying mirror). Also, in the corridor at first we didn’t have enough lighting - it was semi-dark, since not all the lamps were on. But then one lamp opposite was turned on, and we were quite comfortable opening the doors. Yes, we were there during a cool time, but it seems that there is no air conditioning in the room, and for the summer it is necessary. Regarding treatment, procedures are prescribed at a certain time, often inconvenient, and they are endured with great displeasure. You have to run around and get nervous. The treatment base is not too large (all procedures are performed by several nurses), and the equipment is not new. But everything you need is present, there is also a swimming pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this sanatorium, and we would come there again if possible.

The doctor listened carefully during the initial examination and spent enough time to prescribe the correct treatment. The nurses performed their duties conscientiously and were always friendly. The head nurse is a person who knows his job. It was nice that before leaving, the director came up and asked how our vacation and treatment went. It’s a pity that we didn’t have much time, the transfer picked us up. Overall the food was good and some dishes were even very good. But I would like to see more dietary dishes steamed or baked in the oven using vegetable oils and also vegetable dishes. For example, you can even indicate in the menu: steamed (if it’s not difficult). My cholesterol increased during my stay... Baking can also be decorated with some small vegetable pies or.... This is not a minus, but a wish. For those who do not have stomach problems, everything is fine, but I would like there to be something for dieters and vegetarians - I would like the doctor to issue a statement at the end of treatment, which would indicate the treatment performed, the body’s reaction and recommendations for the future. We thought that this was a given, since in other hotels they always gave it out upon check-out. But you had to book it in advance at your hotel. We didn't know about this. There was no information about this anywhere and the doctor reported this before leaving. And I think this would take a little time, since now all the data is entered into a computer.

The procedures are not very good. The equipment and baths are old. But the staff is experienced and trying. The main drawback is the poor quality of cleaning - in 14 days no one has wiped off the dust even once - they wave a vacuum cleaner - they disperse the dust, change the towels and that's it. There are no small gifts upon arrival - water, chocolates - like in other hotels. But to sum it all up, I liked the holiday and would like to come here again
