1). I was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that upon arrival at the hotel reception I was served by a woman who did not speak Russian. She invited me to communicate in English, which I am not good at...I encountered this for the first time in many years that I have been coming to this hotel. Thank you that there were no big problems, since a prepared room was already waiting for me. I received a key, a paper with an invitation to see a doctor and we parted.... 2). The quality of food, especially in the evening, is striking in its monotony; during the 3 weeks of my stay at the hotel, the range of dishes offered hardly changed. After the meat, ice cream was freely available, but tea was available for an additional fee.... 3). All the years that I stayed at the hotel, on the last day of my stay I usually paid an extra 20 euros for the opportunity to stay in the room until the evening, i.e. before the transfer to Prague airport begins. This year I was charged 41.5 euros for the same service. No one explained what caused such a rise in price..... 4). This remark does not apply to the hotel, but rather to representatives of the website www.sanatoriums.com. If in past years I traveled from Marianske Lazne many times to various cities in European countries, then this year local travel agencies, of which there were also much fewer, offered only German cities, some I even visited twice.... Even trips around the Czech Republic, Apart from Prague and Loket, they are practically not offered. But it is precisely such tours that were and remain for me the main purpose of staying in Lazne. I would like to hope that the site will show more initiative in this extremely important matter!

Absolutely inedible dinners: everything is too salty, tough, not tasty. In addition: you can’t even get a glass of water for dinner!! ️ Everything is for an additional fee. I can agree to pay for tea/juice/alcohol, but water!!! It is absolutely unacceptable for Israelis not to have free access to water for every meal. ... also: for breakfast they wanted to fill a bottle from a filter - the waitress forcefully pushed me away from it, and snatched the bottle from my friend’s hands. Some of the service during the procedures was very rude. The resort "doctor" was absolutely indifferent and impatient. I shoved procedures just like that.

The cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. The food wasn't very varied. Communication with the staff sometimes only worked in English or with signs. On the trip to Prague we caught a very old bus where the seat belts didn't work, as did the air conditioning and the speakers. The tour guide spoke almost only Russian. That is not how it works. In Prague we got a German-speaking guide.

The only thing that spoiled the excellent mood from the stay and treatment in Marianske Lazne was the free excursion to Prague, it would have been better if it had been paid, but with a different guide. Her name was Emilia, phone. 00420734758209. The quality of the excursion was very poor, her microphone and our headphones worked intermittently, we were in a hurry all the time, we were constantly reminded that we had to get to a certain store and have lunch at a certain restaurant. I got the impression that this was precisely the purpose of the excursion, and not the sights of Prague. The only thing for which I am grateful to her from the bottom of my heart is that because of me, she took us around the stairs with more than 200 steps, since I use a rollator when moving. True, later she repeatedly reproached me for this, although I did not lag behind the group for a second. There was an unpleasant situation with the allocated room; having booked a deluxe room, we were accommodated in a standard room with a balcony and a coffee maker, passing it off as a deluxe room. With the presence of these two points, the standard room did not become a deluxe room, which is 200 € more expensive than the standard one. We were moved on the 3rd day of our stay, with great reluctance. We didn’t ask for some expensive Apartment; we wanted to get what we chose and paid for, and not just what was handed to us. Unpleasant impression in the very first days. During the remaining 5 days, our bed was never changed. When asked if the bed was changed, the answer was: “The maids know when to change the bed.” Room cleaning. Room cleaning, as we noticed in our room, includes changing towels and cleaning the toilet. During all the days they never wiped dust on a single surface in the room. We were only there for a week. The only conversation with the doctor lasted only a few minutes, everything was quickly short, quickly, without any delving into our wishes. The staff is misleading by giving incorrect information. When going to the pool at the Monty Hotel, take a robe and a large towel with you. They told us: “They will give you everything there, you don’t need to take anything with you!” As a result, they give you one small towel, and you don’t know whether to lie on it or dry yourself with it after a shower or after the pool. It is not possible to get into the Monty Hotel's sauna spontaneously after the pool; the sauna must be booked separately in advance! Also at the Excelsior Hotel the sauna must be booked in advance. There is no swimming pool in the Excelsior Hotel itself, there is only a very small pool next to the sauna, about 1x1m with very cold water. The sauna is designed for 6 people, there are only 4 sunbeds/chairs. There is nowhere to put things, and you can’t sit on someone else’s sunbed. Free drinks - juice, tea, coffee only for breakfast! At dinner, any drinks are paid. There is also water in the rooms, pay attention! Everything is paid, as is all the contents of the minibar. Keep this in mind when going here and consider your budget.

Reading the hotel reviews, there were a little doubts whether the choice had been made correctly, but immediately upon arrival at the hotel, all doubts were dispelled.. The room we had was an apartment, an excellent room, with coffee maker. There were a couple of shortcomings in the room, but everything was fixed right away. On the day of arrival, in the evening we visited the doctor, a very pleasant and responsive doctor. He listened to us carefully and prescribed a plan of procedures. In the process of receiving the procedures, I had to ask to replace a couple of procedures. Clearly and quickly responded to our request and replaced it with other procedures. Also, without any problems, we purchased the necessary procedures. Food and service in the restaurant are at a very good level. There is a choice. Everything is very tasty. The ladies at the reception are very friendly. On any question, correct answer. The hotel sauna is only open for three hours, you need to book in advance and only for one hour, not enough for a sauna, but we were in the sauna every day. Clean, cozy, comfortable. There is an opportunity to visit the world of saunas at the Monty Hotel, there is an opportunity , take advantage of free travel to the sauna, there and back, directly from the Excelsior Hotel to the Monty Hotel and back.
