Good afternoon, I enjoyed my stay because the entire hotel staff are wonderful people. We arrived on Sunday. Tanya met us and we quickly checked in. We settled in and went to the doctor, where we received a course of treatment. In the evening we went to dinner, where Irene served us. The next day in the morning we received a schedule for our treatment. The staff carried out all procedures efficiently. Cleaning was done every day. Location of the hotel was OK... Staff tried hard but were sometimes overwhelmed... especially with the treatments... Breakfast was sufficientNegatives
Beds are very hard, what use are the treatments if you wake up in the morning with pain because the mattresses are really hard and you have to go to the orthopedist at home. The dinner under all the cannon... no buffet but an all-menu menu with two dishes to choose from. There was so little, for example Szeged goulash, 5 small pieces of meat smaller than ice cubes, a few strands of cabbage and inedible napkin dumplings... not to mention the salad...there was no second helping. So always eat out to fill yourself up. Everything is also designed for the Russian population living predominantly in Germany. As a purely German you don't understand anything. The staff also hardly understands or speaks German. As a German you feel totally excluded. The trip to Prague would have been very nice if it hadn't been for the tour guide. This lady doesn't like Germans. So unfriendly and brash...she only spoke in Russian and then only said the short version for the Germans on the bus because it was, after all, a Russian group. Although all Russians on the bus understand German. We weren't the only Germans on the bus either. In addition, my wife was insulted by the bus driver after the pee break in a language that even you Russians couldn't understand. When I asked the tour guide what we did wrong, she just said we shouldn't be so sensitive, she had other problems!? It shouldn't be like that, you are treated as a guest and customer like the last one. In Prague, four of us Germans would be assigned to a German travel group. This tour guide was very nice. Then we had to wait over an hour for a tour group from Karlovy Vary, which in turn shortened our stay in Prague. Really well organized. At the end, when we went to the bus, the tour guide from the bus took the reins again. At the Jewish quarter she began to talk in Russian about Germans and Nazis, which we didn't understand. A German-speaking Russian woman translated a little for us, but for some things that were being said she stopped translating...what the tour guide probably told remained Secret. But we got, quote... For the Germans there is only the short version... Jewish celebrities once lived here... nothing more... I could write more, but I got a very good impression of how to do it is sometimes treated if you are in the minority... that shouldn't be the case. I only read the negative reviews. The sanatorium is trying to improve it, but apparently not. Because in the hotel the food and the hard beds are still on the same level as can be read in older reviews.
