We rested from December 2 to December 15, 2018. Excellent massage therapist, better than in other sanatoriums, chef Martin, during his shifts, pleased with the prepared food, helpful staff at the reception - Jadwiga, Yanna. This really helped us make the right choice, which we did not regret at all. We also express our gratitude for the excursion to Prague (the tour guide Alena is a true professional and a very pleasant person) and for transfers from the airport to the sanatorium and back. Our stay at the Forest sanatorium began with a very warm welcome at the reception. The maid Galina created a truly homely feeling for us and showed us the splendor of Marianske Lazne. Her advice really helped us diversify our holiday. The chef's talent and professionalism did not leave us indifferent to the art of cooking. The food was always varied and tasty. Unexpectedly, we learned that the supply of hot water stops late at night. I wanted to use the shower at two in the morning, but there was only cold water. Boilers are turned off at night and turned on in the morning. The hotel attendant was powerless. Weak exhaust in the shower room. We were disappointed with the conversation with the doctor. It took place in a hurried, formal atmosphere. No examination of patients. We arrived on Sunday. However, when the medical center started operating, the doctor was not at his workplace. He came in the afternoon, and in order not to lose a day of receiving procedures, the head nurse went to meet us and scheduled a general restorative procedure on her own initiative.

Convenient access to all sources, located in a quiet location. All hotel staff are friendly and speak Russian well. I am especially grateful to Hedvika at the reception for her support and quick resolution of all issues that arise. The procedures in the medical department are all clear, compact, not scattered over half a day, thanks to Pavlina. I really want to thank nurse Maria - she was mainly involved in my procedures. I would like the doctor to explain the prescribed procedures (how they will act on the body, what you need to pay attention to when receiving treatment) and approach the initial examination more carefully. In my case, the doctor did not listen to me, did not measure my blood pressure, and prescribed procedures only on the basis of a questionnaire. In addition, the second doctor’s examination stated in the list of services provided was not carried out. The hotel itself is very cozy, small, comfortable to live in and simply superbly located - a stone's throw from the colonnade and the singing fountain (the singing of which you can enjoy all day right from the balcony) and at the same time in the forest (fresh air, birdsong and the murmur of a pond under the windows) . We lived in an apartment, and this room was wonderful - two large rooms, balconies, the most comfortable beds with excellent pillows and blankets (which is usually a rarity), large wardrobes, two TVs, two toilets, beautiful furniture. The windows overlook the forest and the pond. There is silence almost around the clock. Very pleasant and polite hotel staff - I especially liked the waitress Dagmar, the balneocenter nurses, the entire reception staff, as well as the cook Martin (the food was always delicious during his shift). Wonderful breakfasts. Delicious desserts for dinner. If you close your eyes to the meager food for dinner and incomprehensible cleaning, then I recommend it for a stay in Marianske Lazne!Negatives
Unfortunately, words of praise about the hotel staff do not apply to the cleaning ladies. From 7 in the morning it is impossible to sleep on the entire third floor - they talk loudly (one might say shout at each other), their phone constantly rings throughout the entire floor, completely disregarding the desire of people to sleep at such an early time. This behavior looks especially strange against the backdrop of the care of the balneo nurses, who, worried that we would not get enough sleep, performed procedures on us after 9 am (how can we get enough sleep when there is a market on the floor from 7 am...). Apart from the screams early in the morning, we didn’t notice much cleaning in the room - dust on all surfaces, linen was changed only once during the two weeks of our stay, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The second disadvantage of the Forest Hotel is the rather meager food for dinner. The breakfasts were excellent, the à la carte lunches were also quite good (on Chef Martin’s shift it was delicious, on the other shift so-so..), although I would have liked a small dessert for lunch, maybe a compote, and peppered salads drenched in vinegar were also annoying. But there was nothing much to eat for dinner. No, there was a small selection of different meats and three side dishes (usually the same - rice, potatoes, defrosted vegetables), but not everyone wants to eat meat for dinner all the time, and eating the same dinner for two weeks is only for especially hardy. I would like a lighter and less monotonous meal for dinner: vegetable dishes - porridge, casseroles, yogurt, pasta, cheese. Judging by the reviews, people have been complaining about the meager menu and peppery salads for several years, but in response, the administration writes that they should have contacted management. Another point that has been repeatedly noted in reviews is the completely indifferent doctor who really doesn’t care about visitors. There is no examination, he simply reads out a questionnaire filled out in advance and quickly writes out the procedures. When you try to talk about specific health problems and ask questions, it feels like he doesn’t understand Russian at all or is trying to get away with it quickly. Tеперь к вашим комментариям: 1) Отдел уборки гостиницы: - Mы предупредили наших сотрудников, что утром невозможно громко переговариваться (перекрикиваться) а также не могут использовать свои телефоны (только в офисе). - Мы проверили уборку постельного белья - во время вашего пребывания ( 12 ночей), они обменялись ваше постельное белье два раза. Другие недостатки в уборке также решаем. 2) Oтдел бальнео: - Bсегда возможно времена процедур (с главной медсестрой или ее заместителем) настроить по желанию и требованию гостя. 3) Oтдел ресторанa: - Наше предложение включает все виды мяса, различные гарниры (не только 3 типа как Bы пишете). Всегда есть одно блюдо без мяса. Если у некого есть особые пожелания ,должны быть сообщены по прибытии в отель. Нет проблем если у некого есть диета или хочет блюд и салатов без аромата трав, без ароматизаторов. Tолько нужно сказать вовремя, чтобы мы могли удовлетворить все пожелания.
