The medical department at "Centralni Lazne" offers 24 treatments per week, which is a significant advantage over other spa houses in Marianske Lazne, where on average 16 treatments are held. The spa facilities are considered to be one of the strongest in the resort and the medical department is the largest in the Czech Republic. Guests are offered a wide range of treatments, including classic spa procedures using local natural factors - peat mud, natural carbon dioxide and mineral water brought here from springs for some water procedures. There are 3 doctors working here, among whom I would like to point out Eva Ublova, the chief physician of the spa, who has been practicing at the resort since 1982, under whose sensitive guidance the treatment process is carried out on an excellent level. In the spa hotel there is a unique procedure "marino lake", during which the patient sits on his waist immersed in the "lake" of natural carbon dioxide in a special room, this procedure is combined with oxygen therapy. Among the disadvantages of "Maria Spa" I can only point out the lack of its own pool. "Maria Spa" guests can enjoy free access to a well-equipped fitness center in the spa hotel "Centralni Lazne", use some services of the spa hotel "Nove Lazne" and visit the wellness center of the spa hotel "Hvezda".

The medical base has more than 30 types of health and wellness procedures, which are quite enough to undergo a general revitalizing course of treatment. The advantage of the spa hotel is free parking. The disadvantages are the lack of mineral water supplied to the spa hotel and a doctor working on a permanent basis. Also a disadvantage of the spa hotel is that it is located 1500 meters from the colonnade with mineral springs. Therefore I do not recommend it to people with musculoskeletal problems, especially those who have difficulty walking.

A significant advantage over other spas and spa hotels in Marianske Lazne is that guests receive 24 treatments per week. The treatment is based on natural factors of the resort - peat mud, natural carbon dioxide, as well as mineral water supplied to the therapeutic department from springs for some water procedures. Please note that only in the clinic of the spa hotel "Hvezda" conducted the procedure "ultrasound" for the prostate, there is a device "Biokon-2000", which is used to treat diseases of the prostate, sexual dysfunction in men and women, constipation, incontinence of urine and stool, children's enuresis, inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs. All procedures are carried out clearly on schedule, there are never any queues. The spa hotel's restaurant offers medium quality meals, breakfast drinks, several teas, juices and water, and there is also decaf available on request. Please note that seats in the restaurant are reserved for guests only during dinner. On the positive side, there are two dining rooms, depending on the number of guests. According to the cook of the restaurant, if necessary, they can also prepare diet food. Despite the compactness of the medical department, here you can undergo a full spa and wellness treatment. The quality of medical base in "Flora" is not bad, guests are offered standard spa procedures. The wellness center has a swimming pool, ideal for gymnastics. The disadvantages are that a doctor does not work here on a permanent basis, but comes to the spa hotel if necessary. In my opinion, there is a qualified and polite staff here.
