I really liked the city. I have always been to Karlovy Vary. Lots of greenery. silence, amazing air. Wonderful location of the hotel. Friendly staff, they always accommodate changes in procedure times and take into account your wishes. Varied menu, good preparation. Large portions. The city hosts many cultural events. And a special impression from the fountain with its classical repertoire. Excellent psychotherapy. Great experience working with Sanatoriums.com. I recommend to everyone.Negatives

The rooms have new furniture and comfortable beds, cleanliness, order, very good work of the sanitary staff (who clean the rooms), friendly attitude and high qualifications of the doctor, head nurse and treatment nurses, and reception staff. Possibility to receive dietary meals in consultation with a nutritionist. Special thanks to the nutritionist, cook and waiters at the restaurant.Negatives
Our proposals: In connection with the provision of treatment in the field of gastroenterology, increase attention to dietary nutrition by: 1. Including at least one dietary dish in the lunch and dinner menu. 2. Reduce the amount of salt in the first course (soups), since salt is on the table for those who want it. 3. Include in the breakfast buffet, along with oatmeal, at least once every two days, buckwheat porridge, which is also offered in dietary dishes. Buckwheat porridge is traditionally and widely used in the diet of Russian-speaking guests, especially those on a diet. We didn’t see any negatives and we hope to visit the Flora Hotel more than once.

There are a lot of downsides! They also brought in a baby crib and it was impossible to turn around in the room, there were two separate beds and this was for a young family. They asked to change the room, they reacted very violently and said there was no one to move the baby crib, so they carried it themselves!!! The beds are terrible and this is in hotels where they are being treated people supposedly have musculoskeletal problems. The food is terribly tasteless!!!, there is nothing dietary at all, and this is again in spa hotels where supposedly people are undergoing treatment for the gastrointestinal tract! One woman had an exacerbation of an ulcer!!! The doctor is not attentive and sticks everything in a row and she doesn’t care what the patient needs and isn’t interested in whether the patient can have this procedure, so during the procedure of a dry carbon dioxide bath (gas bag) a man’s back got jammed!!! Pearl baths in ordinary water, the baths are clear that they don’t wash so it’s not pleasant! The sauna is paid, the pool is small and cool. Savings are everywhere and on everything, and this can be felt even in the aura of the hotel, since everywhere there is dim light, the central chandelier does not turn on at all! When you enter neighboring hotels, it is light and your soul is immediately warmer, but here it is like children in a dungeon! The hotels are stuffy senile smell, the hoods don't work, and they also save electricity! The restaurant with an observation deck is periodically closed in the evening, there is no live music there. The view from the windows is bad, from the dining room you can see the neighboring building, which is not residential, and how pigeons nest in the shit!, horror!!!!!! !!

We stayed at the hotel for almost 2 weeks. Accommodation and food are normal for a 3 star category. The doctor’s examination went quickly; she did not delve too deeply into health problems, but prescribed the procedures that were available. I was surprised how early they started. Aqua gymnastics at 7 am did not suit us, but you can change the procedures once. The nurses are friendly and the staff is conscientious. You can drink water as much as you like. The procedures are relaxing, not therapeutic. People mostly take gas injections. Marienbad is beautiful and quiet, great for a relaxing holiday.Negatives
Food: small selection of dishes and monotonous side dishes, sauces are often too spicy. For people who must stick to a diet, there is little choice. The pool is small and it is difficult to change clothes in the toilet/shower cubicle.

A very unfriendly doctor, Jitka Maskova, took 100 crowns for writing out a prescription for medications (for which, as it turned out, prescriptions were not needed at all, but she said that they were definitely needed to buy heart medications). I think this is just extortion on her part. Not a single sanatorium in the Czech Republic, neither in Teplice, nor in Poděbrady, nor in Marianske Lazne, has ever sold prescriptions for medicines. In general, she is very inattentive, she receives a lot of money for her “work,” but communication with her lasts only 3-5 minutes and boils down only to prescribing procedures.

You need to choose the procedures yourself, and not agree to what is offered to everyone. Usually the doctor makes concessions. An excellent procedure is gas carbon dioxide bags. For this price you could only buy a ticket on this site; everything else is much more expensive.
