In the fall of 2019, the second elevator did not work. Considering that the elevators stop between floors, the elevator stops for all calls; when the hotel was completely filled with elderly sick people, the lack of a second elevator was very annoying. A trip to Czech Krumvol with the MAKSITUR company on the recommendation of sanatoriums.com left a bad impression regarding the organization. The cost of the tour turned out to be 50 CZK more than in the price list from sanatoriums.com, which seemed strange. On the way back, the car's alternator belt broke. This means that the driver was poorly prepared for the trip and constantly lied to us about the arrival time of the other car. No one apologized for the situation, neither the driver nor the company. It’s better not to travel anywhere with MAXITUR. The free trip to Prague turned out to be empty, the excursion had little substance, all the time we walked slowly somewhere without stopping and listened to the text. Neither the guide nor the driver could do anything with those who violated discipline, so more than an hour of free time was simply lost.

There was only one small elevator because the second one was broken. Couldn't be repaired during the week. Even though there was an elevator, you still had to climb stairs. Not so great for people with walking difficulties.

Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Flora Hotel. The location is simply wonderful, and this was important to us. Our room was very good, large and bright, only the shower was a little cramped. The room cleaning was perfect and overall cleanliness was at the highest level. The treatment was at an average level, although everything was on time. Still not enough staff! I was very pleased with the warm and cozy pool. That was a very nice spa stay at the Hotel Flora. The location of the hotel in the center of Mariánské Lázně is well suited for older people. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All applications run according to appointments, which has a positive impact on daily planning. We were in the Hotel Flora for the third time, it was amazing that the staff still remembered their previous guests and greeted them in a friendly manner. If you arrive by car you have the opportunity to park at the hotel, please reserve the parking space in advance.

I stayed at the hotel for the fourth time, because I feel comfortable in everything - the treatment, the rooms, the attitude, the food, the location. Since I am treating the kidneys and have a specific diagnosis and composition of the stones, the treatment has a positive effect. If more serious joint treatment is needed, I would additionally take sulfate baths and mud in Butterfly (I was in Heviz in November and I didn’t need it). Tips for staying in winter: shoes should be designed for slippery sidewalks with wet snow, it’s good to have Swedish walking poles (I bought them locally), take a kettle with you, you don’t need to take lunch, because in the off-season the choice of dishes is not very good (the food is delicious, but they love salt...)Negatives
