We rested from September 11 to 25 in the Elva sanatorium with a cheerful group of 6 people for the first time, not the first time in Karlovy Vary. I really liked it. Nice spacious rooms, excellent food, everything is very tasty and plentiful, good treatment, all procedures were carried out on time and with good quality, caring and very friendly staff. Thank you all very much for a wonderful holiday. The price-quality ratio in the sanatorium is excellent. A very cozy, quiet resort. The atmosphere can be said to be family. A great place for those who do not like noise and large crowds. The location of the sanatorium is excellent, close to springs, park areas and shops.Negatives

Two weeks of stay at the Elwa Spa Hotel flew by with lightning speed. Excellent location, spacious two-room suite, in which even in 35 degree heat it was quite comfortable to sleep at night. Beautiful view from the window, especially early in the morning and evening. The noise of the Tepla River and passing cars under the windows were not at all annoying. Crystal chandeliers, beautiful stucco on the ceiling. The hotel is cozy. Upon arrival, the doctor prescribed basically standard procedures at the rate of 3 procedures per day (32 in total). But, on the Sanatoriums website, 39 procedures were announced, which pleased me; the sanatorium added 7 procedures without any problems. Two nurses work on the medical second floor. Verochka, special thanks to her, is always positive and fast, manages to carry out both electrical procedures and injections (it doesn’t hurt!). Vlasta does massages and water treatments. Both are attentive and smiling. I liked the restaurant. There was enough choice for lunch and dinner, we didn’t have time to try everything. Breakfast, as already written on the website, is in the form of a buffet, but you can order an omelet and porridge. No frills, but quite enough of everything. The bed linen is clean and snow-white. Cleaning every day, towels changed, no problems. And excellent sound insulation. Quiet, calm. We liked both the treatment and the accommodation.Negatives
It is a pity that such a nice hotel does not have proper care and renovation. Of course, it’s understandable that if you invest a good amount of money in repairs, then the prices for accommodation will be appropriate. A wonderful terrace, apparently once upon a time you could sit here with a cup of coffee, but now it is empty, the bar does not work, the restaurant serves only its guests. Well, the biggest minus is the carpet in the rooms. He's not just old, he's scary. The upholstered furniture in the living room is not at all fresh, worn out and torn in places. Pillows are a different story. We can assume that they do not exist. And despite all the disadvantages, I want to go back and just ignore them. That's what we'll do on our next visit.

There are no downsides, except that upholstered furniture needs to be replaced or updated; in some places, leaks are visible on the ceiling in the balneocenter, but this does not affect the quality of treatment.

I stayed at the ELWA hotel in June 2015. A very cozy and quiet hotel, the springs are almost nearby, the staff is friendly. The hotel has qualified medical staff and excellent medical procedures. Special thanks to the cooks! Everything was very tasty and a good selection of dishes for diets. People go to this hotel from year to year. The hotel is well located. Good room layout, Wi-Fi in the room. There are many procedures that take place on the ground floor. They give you a robe, it’s comfortable to wear during procedures, towels are changed as needed, you need to throw them on the floor near the bathtub. Bed linen - once a week. The food is beyond praise! I would especially like to mention the staff. I have never encountered such care and kindness anywhere else! There are no downsides as such, except that the hotel is in need of renovation. I visit Vary every year and stay at the Imperial - the difference, of course, is felt, BUT - the difference in price can always be used to purchase additional treatment (or cosmetic services) or to purchase excursions, because positive emotions are also treatment! No need to look for negativity where there is none! Health and good luck to everyone! I'll definitely be back!

I chose the sanatorium very carefully, there is a crisis, you see... I was not mistaken. For more than 10 years of annual visits to Karlovy Vary, this option turned out to be the most successful in terms of price/quality ratio. There are no separate diet tables, but the selection of dishes allowed me to organize it myself; in three weeks I wasn’t even able to try everything. The treatment was standard, as everywhere else in Vary, I got everything I wanted. Many thanks to Mrs. Monika (the manager), who, like a good angel or a magical fairy, helped in resolving any issues, even those not related to staying at the sanatorium. Thanks to all the medical staff, cooks, restaurant employee Mirka and the very friendly lady at the reception (to my shame, I forgot her name). I plan to return...Negatives
The management of the sanatorium knows everything about the shortcomings. But I think it is right, in a crisis, to focus on good nutrition and treatment. You can tolerate old carpet for 2-3 weeks of such a budget stay. And there are good alternatives to a broken magnetic therapy device. In other, much more expensive establishments, the choice of procedures may be much smaller. In addition, when booking a sanatorium, you can always contact and clarify the package of procedures.
