Everything was at the highest level, the food was high quality and we were always full. The food is both restaurant-quality and homemade (I don’t know how we managed to create such a combo). The treatments we received on our week-long stay were amazing for the price. In general, the stay at the sanatorium was a very positive experience. The feeling that you are in some kind of palace - beautiful corridors, chandeliers. The room itself is spacious and nice, although we took one of the cheapest options. It’s worth mentioning separately about the hotel staff, they really try very hard for the guests. This is probably the best experience of this kind of vacation; you cannot get such a service for that kind of money in many other European countries. On a budget - yes, it’s possible, but it will be a completely different category of vacation. Here you can clearly see what you are paying for.Negatives
Well, there is so much written about the shortcomings: the hotel is on an elevation, so going up is a physical activity. This can be difficult for pensioners (we are not pensioners, it’s not a problem for us). There are sometimes small organizational problems, but just tell the staff that something is wrong, they are very good and will help with everything. If they mess up, they'll fix it. For example, once they brought us the wrong food that we had chosen from the menu, we said, they apologized to us and brought us what we needed. Don't be silent, tell them politely, and they will correct themselves.

The hotel is located 5-10 minutes walk from the most recommended thermal water sources, on a hill with a moderate rise. We deliberately chose this location and were not mistaken. How we had a good rest and excellent healing. We felt at home. Soulful atmosphere. Helpful staff. Delicious and varied dietary food to choose from. And even the fact that the hotel is located a little on the mountain is a plus. Walking and drinking water at least three times a day are also beneficial. You can visit or go on excursions. A wonderful hotel in the very center of Karlovy Vary. Here we managed to find an island of silence, calm, warmth and kindness in this turbulent time. Well-mannered staff are always ready to help. Cozy and quiet environment, as if at home. Despite the fact that the hotel is located in the center, the very quiet surroundings and the pleasant ringing of the church bells give a special atmosphere for relaxation. There were not many guests, everyone was welcoming and friendly. Special thanks for the excursion to Prague and our guide Valentina. I’ve been to Prague seven times, but the first time was so informative and interesting. I spent two wonderful weeks at the Schlosspark Hotel at the end of December 2021. The purpose of the visit was to recover from Covid, which I suffered quite hard. It so happened that at that time I was the only guest in the hotel. The exception was weekends, when two or three rooms were checked in for a short period of time. Despite this fact, I received the full procedures!!, I even took additional ones. Thank you to the wonderful massage therapist Philip! Absolutely competent massage, every finger knows its place and its job! He also carried out all other procedures. Always smiling and polite! I really recovered from my illness, which I am incredibly happy about! I especially thank the restaurant workers! They set the table for me alone! The dishes are tasty and varied. The portions are large. I had to ask for the portions to be half the size, and later I gave up dinners altogether, since my happy stomach couldn’t even accommodate an extra glass of Czech beer in the evening :). Thank you to the reception staff! Always attentive, always on site, always ready to solve any problem. My room was spacious, bright, with a balcony and a large shower room. The spa doctor didn't understand us, asked almost nothing and didn't examine us at all. That was really a shame. Something was simply ticked under the applications and nothing was explained. Located slightly on a hill, we really liked the location, we love to walk, almost immediately behind the hotel hiking trails begin in the beautiful surroundings of the resort area.
