Sanatorium treatment at the highest level, everything is on time, excellent qualified staff. Very good instructors (especially the young man who conducts Chinese gymnastics on the street and group classes in the hall). Food is a separate issue: everything is very tasty and very varied, a lot of vegetables, a large selection of meat and fish dishes, very tasty jelly desserts. Among the therapeutic procedures, I really liked the mineral pearl baths, underwater massage, halotherapy and all types of relaxation. We lived in Egle 2, in my opinion the best location. It’s convenient that you can rent a safe in the building. Cleaning was carried out every day. There is an opportunity to use the laundry, it is very convenient - payment through the terminal with a bank card. Clean air, pine forest, bike rental. In the evening we went to a cafe on site and to a dance evening. Maxim's store is a 15-minute walk away, or you can take a minibus to the city center (excellent water park and cable car).Negatives
The biggest minus is the doctor's appointment. The inability to choose procedures - everything has already been decided for you. It is not always convenient to schedule visits to procedures. Of course, you can try to go to the hospital reception to change something, but if a blonde with a short haircut is on duty, there are no options, she’s always busy, she won’t even look. I really didn’t like the masseuse’s conversations about her low salary.

My husband and I, the Vinnitsa spouses Bronislava and Benjamin, were treated and rested in the Egle-3 sanatorium from July 15 to July 27, 2017. We were very pleased with the environment in which we were all this time. Firstly, we breathed the cleanest air; the sanatorium staff are charming, cultured, intelligent people. Secondly, the treatment included an extraordinary variety of procedures that were carried out at a high professional level. As for the food, we can give it a high rating both for the quality of its preparation and for its variety. The only thing I would like to note as a comment is that the desire of the maids and the administration to create a more or less cozy atmosphere was not always respected in the room. Next time (and we intend to repeat our visit to you) I would like to enter your room and feel more comfortable and cozy there. I can only say a lot of good things about this treatment - the treatments are varied and very helpful, the staff is attentive and helpful, the food is simply great - quality like at home, but more variety! Various sports options are available. The location offers everything - forest walks, small lakes, but also shopping opportunities directly or in the immediate vicinity (approx. 15 minutes walk). The choice of procedures from a certain category, for example, physiotherapy, even if they are not needed, must be chosen and cannot be replaced with others. It was possible before. It turns out that some of the procedures are useless, and the necessary ones are carried out less frequently, for example, inhalations every 1-2 days, and therefore there is no effect from them. Before checking in, carefully study the procedures performed on the sanatorium’s website, because the doctor will offer you the cheapest ones from the list first. If you don’t know that there is some kind of procedure, they may not tell you it. Therefore, it is better for the doctor to clearly say what you want (if there are no contraindications).

The amount of inhalation and oxygen cocktail was reduced, renovations at the hospital created inconvenience, the procedures were extended over the whole day and therefore there was little opportunity to go to the city.

Almost all the medical staff walk around with dissatisfied faces and behave rudely. The doctor from room 515 promises to prescribe procedures but forgets to indicate this on the computer. The lines at the hospital reception desk are long in the first half of the day. Mineral water in the Egle+ case has a disgusting taste. The biggest drawback is walking along the street from the building to the hospital-pump room-canteen in any weather, incl. in the pouring rain! Covered walkways with moving walkways would be a solution because... There are many people who have difficulty walking at all. It’s a pity that now there is no railway to Druskininkai like in Soviet times. It would be much easier to get there. I really didn’t like buildings 1A, 1B, 1C.

There are no ramps - it is difficult to get up and down with suitcases. Sometimes YOUNG nurses (unlike medical staff over 50 years old, who are very understanding and attentive to patients) are not attentive enough to older people when carrying out procedures.

The doctor treated my problems superficially and did not bother to create an individual treatment program taking into account the characteristics of my body; she prescribed standard procedures in accordance with the number of days of stay. I had to independently study the list of procedures on the website and request them from the doctor. I was very disappointed by the quality of the manual therapeutic massage: out of 5 masseuses, only one performed a truly therapeutic massage, the rest saved their energy and engaged in “stroking.” The staff at the reception does not speak Russian well enough, because of this there were misunderstandings with the organization of procedures and the time of departure from the sanatorium.

The only thing that can be offered is the possibility of check-in from 20.00 in the evening, as is the case in some sanatoriums - for example in Staraya Russa. I just drove from Estonia / from Narva / 12.5 hours.
