The location of the sanatorium itself is on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by kilometers of beautiful, well-groomed pine forest with comfortable paths, including along the river, and with dozens of different beautifully singing birds:)))))) Externally, the buildings are the most ordinary (which seemed like a minus when choosing), but inside everything is done just perfectly and in a modern way, everything is new!!!) I was restored at the sanatorium in the spring - the second half of April, so for 2 weeks something bloomed on the territory every day :)) Including beautiful magnolia and sakura :)) In fact town (Druskinenkai) of incredible beauty, fields with daffodils, near lakes with fountains, swans. Spotlessly clean, cozy and beautiful town. Stayed in Standard rooms. Everything is very thought out and well organized (a comfortable bed with a latex mattress cover, excellent quality bathrobes in which it is very comfortable to go to water treatments and to the pool, a warm and very beautiful transition from the room stock to the hospital and to the pump room is thoughtfully organized. Every month there is an exhibition of new beautiful paintings, always spotlessly clean floor-to-ceiling windows). Very polite, competent and always ready to help staff both in the hotel rooms and in the hospital. The procedures are very well thought out - no waiting, no queues. Carefully build the correct sequence of procedures (so as not to cause harm in any way). The spine and body are restored before our eyes - the effect is noticeable in all residents. Great job!!! Many people from Israel come to the sanatorium, confirming that the treatment is at the highest level. The food is also very tasty and varied. There are no particular disadvantages, you just need to take into account that the single rooms in building B are downright small. And to get to the dining room you need to walk down the street. But all this has been eliminated in the Egle+ building (if you book in advance, you can get a seat - I didn’t get it anymore).

-The double room in the Standart 1B building was simply excellent, apparently recently after renovation -The medical and therapeutic direction of the sanatorium, fortunately, is not only preserved, but also improved, expanded with new medical procedures, and for this it is worth coming here, they really treat here. This is what distinguishes Egle from other sanatoriums, which have long been degraded into Spa & Wellness hotels. I really liked the classes in the hanging bath and in the hall, mud and mineral baths, massages, and other procedures. The time of the procedures is distributed very competently, there is always time to change clothes and rest a little before the next procedure. - very tasty bread, which is baked in Egle, and the rest of the food was also very tasty and varied - very polite and helpful staff in the hotel, in the hospital, in the kitchen, and the transfer driver, and the local population in Druskininkai is very friendly, They tell a lot of interesting things about the city, about themselves, which additionally creates a pleasant impression of this place, where you want to return again and again - the beautiful and well-groomed territory of the sanatorium, the Christmas trees are just like from a picture. There are no cons, only wishes: - In the single room of building 1A there is a very small sink in the shower, I would like a little larger one, otherwise washing in the morning is not very convenient, especially when your back hurts and does not bend. But I think that these rooms are already in line for renovation, and soon their turn will come :) - you can make a small drying rack on the balcony or stretch a rope in the corner so that you can dry your swimsuit in good weather. In the pool, the centrifuge spins well, but still not 100%, a little moisture remains - and it would be cool if the rooms had a small dictionary reminder with simple everyday phrases in Lithuanian with translation into Russian, so that while you are relaxing here, at the same time, you will learn something new, and the staff will be pleased if they are addressed in their native language, at least with simple words of greeting and gratitude.

You know, I am so happy that I went to Druskininkai to the EGLE sanatorium! everything was wonderful from the first minutes of being there! Now I understand my colleagues who go there 2 times a year. A complete reboot happened to me there in 8 days! The allergy that had been tormenting me in Riga for 2 years has receded, as if it had never existed! And my depression finally let me go. I realized that life is wonderful! Everything is professional, calm, sincere! Many thanks to all doctors and all medical staff! And what food! I tried to eat everything dietary, without salt. and everything was so delicious! and what a great choice, sometimes I needed willpower :)))) The procedures were all to my advantage: baths, a swimming pool, massages, mud, electrophoresis, tai chi (free), walks through a pine forest, various relaxations. in the evenings. I drank some water, as my doctor prescribed. Hello to all my new friends from Kaliningrad, Germany, Latvia. My colleagues said that I looked amazing and that I looked 5 years younger :))) And this was in a week! And, of course, the residents of Latvia find the Ecoline bus very convenient, which will comfortably take you from Riga to the doors of the sanatorium on Saturday, and pick you up satisfied and rested the following Sunday. Confusion with check-in - our reservation was not found for more than half an hour, then payment was not found. The administrator referred to the fact that your site is an intermediary, and someone made a mistake when making a reservation, it turned out that the reservation was made for my 10-year-old daughter. There was no free room (paid in advance) of the luxury-economy category in Žilvinas (again a reference to the fact that someone made a mistake at some stage), but there were free rooms in the cheapest and most uncomfortable building, where we were offered to stay. After two hours of clarifying the situation, we were admitted to building B standard, albeit with an additional payment, although on the website this room was cheaper than the one I had prepaid. It should be noted that the subsequent stay and relaxation in the sanatorium smoothed out this unpleasant situation.

The price of CO2 injections could be lower. This procedure is in great demand and it seems that it is not particularly in demand here because of the price. One office, one employee and he gives the impression of a not particularly experienced worker. It's a pity. This is perhaps the only drawback, but for me it is very important. And a little advice for the sanatorium - organize ski rentals in winter. That would be excellent.
