I was in the Egle sanatorium from May 3 to May 10, 7 nights, minus 2 days of travel there and back. I am Russian, temporarily living in Norway. I had never been to any sanatorium for treatment before. There is nothing to compare with. But before booking and traveling, I heard a lot about this particular sanatorium in Druskininkai from my friends, read reviews on the website and decided to try it. All expectations were met. Clean, well-groomed area, pleasant weather, many flowers. Of course, you won’t surprise me with nature, but the pines are large and tall. The walking paths are endless, I walked. Single room according to the description and photo. Some people complain that it’s small, but it was enough for me and I think it’s a normal number. Towels were changed frequently and vacuumed. At first they put me on the first floor, I didn’t really like it, there are reasons, but that’s it. day, the girls from 1A, at my request, changed my room on the 3rd floor, which was wonderful. I liked that the distances between the buildings are sufficient. This is in addition to training. I don’t know what it’s like in the winter, you have to get dressed after the procedures so as not to catch a cold, but in the weather like I had, it’s a pleasure to walk. I liked the procedures, such as mud wraps and underwater massage, I experienced it for the first time in my life, it warms and softens, it’s just great! And, of course, vertical baths, gymnastics in the pool and in the hall, tai-chi - wonderful! The staff is friendly, polite and correct. Varied food. There are no particular disadvantages. The only thing is that when I booked, it was not indicated which building I would live in. From “Žilvinas” we were sent to Egle 2, from there to Egle 1, we had to take a walk with our suitcase after a long journey. There was no discussion at all about the choice of body. It is necessary to check the time of procedures in the sanatorium card, I found a couple of overlays, at the reception in the medical building they changed it very quickly.

I was surprised to note that not a single negative moment marred my stay, as happened in other places. I would just like to express a few suggestions: 1) on the door of the pool, perhaps it should be written that it is necessary to have a 1 euro deposit, because... people going to the pool for the first time don’t know about it. 2) I would like the TV in the room to be hung on the wall so that it would be convenient to watch from the bed.

During the 12 days of stay, the bed linen was changed only once. Replacing towels is a thing in itself - solely according to the maid’s mood... It’s been a long time since I’ve seen sour cream diluted with kefir. Compared to December-January (last visit), everything is very monotonous and often there is almost nothing to eat..... In fact, only cutlets. It would be nice to get some bracelets for visiting the canteen, otherwise the employees have a bad memory of faces and are constantly required to show a sanatorium card.

I would like the maids to pay a little more attention to cleaning the shower (toilet) room. Sometimes I would like the food to be less dietary, a little more spices, sometimes something fried (and not just steamed). I would also like water in the pool where the gymnastics took place, it would have been a little warmer, since the ventilation in the pool was quite strong and when they came out of the cool water, they froze from the ventilation wind and almost all of our friends got sick. It would also be nice if the “Underwater shower” procedure -massage" would be carried out (as in other sanatoriums) in mineral water, and not in plain water. Here are some small recommendations.

During the procedures, they steal our precious minutes, instead of 15 minutes of dirt., They give 12, also for bath procedures, it’s unpleasant..
