Having decided to improve our health, we studied the topic of wellness recreation. It turned out that there are not so many sanatoriums where you can relax and receive treatment with a 4-year-old child. Among the Lithuanian ones, we liked the Grand Spa Lietuva hotel with a medical base. Our package included accommodation, meals, doctor's consultation and 33 procedures each. ⠀ My wife chose the following: massage, amplipulse therapy, pearl bath with mineral. water, oxygen concentrator, lymphatic drainage, contrast baths, halotherapy (salt cave), mud applications, vertical bath, etc. I took massages, mud, a salt room and magnetic therapy for myself. You can take as many additional procedures as you like for a fee, but the basic ones were enough for us. The service in the hospital is excellent - the staff is polite, they constantly came up and asked if everything was okay, if I could give him some warm water (in the bathroom). Kind aunties helped wash my back after the mud. In short, everyone there is cute. ⠀ I liked that you can get into all the hotel buildings without going outside - there is a corridor leading from the hotel to the hospital and the water park, very convenient. ⠀ Another bonus of our hotel is its own water park, where you can hang out at least every day. It was impossible to get the child out of the paddling pool. We splashed in the pools, had fun in the jacuzzi and saunas (there are 15 of them). There is food in the restaurant for every taste - both healthy food like vegetables and steamed fish, and dishes with “fat on the butt” such as pilaf with lamb, zeppelins, etc. In general, the same all-inclusive, only without alcohol (you can buy wine at the bar next to the restaurant). ⠀ We had a great rest and even somehow more thoroughly than in the south. Thanks to the water park and salt cave, the absence of the sea was almost not felt. We will practice this type of relaxation more often (#hello old age). This was our first time staying at this resort and we were very pleased. For a 3*** hotel it’s even excellent. Friendly staff, attentive medical staff. There is quite a variety of food and you can always choose the dish you want. It’s especially great that there is a water park, baths and a swimming pool. Good medical base. The quality of procedures in the hospital is excellent, the staff is very kind. I liked everything: from treatment to relaxation (the Water Park is also a big plus). Cons: - regarding the kitchen - very dirty dishes and cutlery, I had to choose dishes from a pile. - in my opinion, there is not enough regular food for children, the side dishes are the same type, just ordinary pasta, cutlets for children. - there were a couple of shortcomings in the treatment plan: instead of a 15-minute massage for children, it was given for 10 minutes at most, and it was just a simple stroke. When I asked the massage therapist about a 10-minute massage, she became indignant instead of apologizing. - during the whirlpool bath procedure, I lay in a non-working bath, and they did not offer to replace or reschedule the procedure. - we had to reschedule the time of the procedures, since we were vacationing as a family of 4 people, the time coincided with the children, and in the second week, for all family members, the procedures ended in the first half for, and for me, many were closer to 15 hours. At the same time, the procedures were postponed to the morning. There is no program that takes into account that this is a family.
