The sanatorium has a wonderful location, friendly staff, food is beyond praise (tasty, varied), treatment is in accordance with my condition (all procedures are strictly on schedule, no queues), the opportunity to visit the water park was also very pleasing. The room is clean, daily cleaning and replacement of towels. I really liked everything!

A kettle in the room would be nice, it’s a little cool in the gallery when moving from the residential building to the medical one (the radiators were cool despite the end of October! Maybe the heating season has not yet arrived in Lithuania?). I took a universal treatment program (that is, for 15 days of stay with the day of arrival and departure, 75 procedures were prescribed) - according to the schedule, on some days there were 6-7 procedures - a little tiring, sometimes they ended at 15-16 hours, but for me I would like to walk around the city and its surroundings more! I think 3-4 procedures per day would be optimal.

Tips: install water near the treatment rooms - you will be thirsty. In treatment rooms, provide towels rather than requiring them to be brought from the room. My husband and I vacationed at the Lietuva Sanatorium, Grand SPA Lietuva complex from 09/17/2017-09/27/2017. Mini-lux room. This is the fifth time we have visited this resort. Previously, we lived in a standard room in Lietuva*** and in a mini-suite at the Druskininkai Hotel ****. As a result, we settled on the Lietuva*** mini-suite. This turned out to be optimal for us. The room is spacious and has everything you need. At our request, the maids provided us with additional pillows, a blanket and a kettle completely free of charge. We always use a universal program. The quality of the procedures is good, the medical staff is friendly and attentive. This time, the vertical baths in the mineral water pool were especially memorable.

The food is a little monotonous, but you won't leave hungry. Everything is delicious. Very small TV in the room. Chandeliers and table lamps are already in need of updating.

The reception of doctors in the sanatorium is poorly organized. You have to wait for a very long time at the reception room. And the procedure in the cryosauna is stupid. Everyone comes for the same time and sits in a waiting line for a long time, which is not acceptable.
We rested and were treated for 13 days at the Grand Spa Lithuania. We arrived on Sunday, check-in took 5 minutes. The next day we went to the doctor, naturally Sunday fell out of the treatment program as the day of departure.. The room is comfortable, but without a balcony. The window opens to the width of the palm , I think it would be hot in the summer. The procedures are scheduled throughout the day, if you want to reschedule the procedures, you will have to pay 2 euros. Dirt per person is given in a bucket, which is applied where the doctor prescribed it, while height and weight are not taken into account, the bucket is that. The food suited us - there was enough meat and vegetable dishes. There is a Water Park where you can swim and steam, and there is also a small bar right in the sauna area. The staff is diligent and conscientious, everyone understands Russian. The hotel left a good impression.

The hotel is more focused on Spa and Wellness than on medical procedures, so it seemed to us. Last year we went to “Egla,” where we actually received treatment, but here we rested and relaxed more. For us, the prices were a bit high and we paid an additional 200 euros for procedures. We are fans of Egle, and next year we will go there, both cheaper and better. Although the Grand Spa Lithuania is also not bad. Some people need Relaxation and additional treatment, while others need treatment, and it doesn’t matter how the sanatorium is located and how many saunas it has.

These are not disadvantages, just suggestions for improving service: - it would be good to distribute the schedules for procedures so that they do not stretch over the whole day, so that there is more free time. For example, all procedures before lunch, or all procedures after lunch; - it would be nice to include one or two introductory excursions around Druskininkai and its immediate surroundings in the package of services, and coordinate their time with the schedules of procedures; - it would be nice to organize some cultural events at the hotel (concerts, lectures, film shows, etc.), at least once a week; - it would be nice to diversify the food (especially breakfasts) and make it a little more dietary (Lithuanian food is very tasty, but very high in calories!); - since currently a significant part of the clients are Russian-speaking, it would be nice for some hotel employees to have a better command of the Russian language.
The excellent location of the sanatorium, almost the city center, well-groomed territory, all buildings are connected by passages, friendly staff, the rooms are clean, as they are cleaned every day (towels are also changed every day), a good water complex and a modern gym. A large selection of procedures, you can choose a program to suit every taste, taking into account the doctor’s recommendations. A wonderful resort town with parks and squares, lakes and museums.

The food in the sanatorium was quite monotonous and simple, there was very little fruit, there were no berries at all, although it was the season for cherries, gooseberries, currants, and raspberries. To my regret, the city only has one small beach on the lake. There is a paid beach on the river, but I didn’t like swimming there.
This is a great place for recreation and active recreation. Cleanest air and magnificent nature. Very friendly and professional attitude of the staff of the hotel, health center, water park and all Druskininkai residents in general. Highly recommend.
I want to say that I have already been to the Grand Spa Lietuva sanatorium 4 times and every time I am eager to go there again and again. The people are wonderful, the food is 110% perfect, the accommodation is super!!! I can’t say anything other than the delight of visiting the sanatorium. There is nothing to complain about. My deepest bow to all the staff of the sanatorium and managers - they already recognize me by sight during all procedures! They ask how things are and what else I would like. I absolutely love this resort!!!!
1. The staff does not speak English. 2. Very unfriendly employees in the medicinal bath department. 3. One shift of restaurant employees places carts for collecting dirty dishes in the center of the room and throws cutlery and dishes with an incredible crash. Almost a competition to see who is louder. We flinched every time, as this happened behind our backs. In response to our remark, they told us: “If you don’t like it, change seats.” But audibility is good everywhere. This is not only disrespect for guests, but also unprofessionalism. Because a restaurant should not only have good food, but also a pleasant atmosphere. The other shift of restaurant staff were just super friendly and wonderful. It's good that they alternated.
The level of specialists and workers, as well as the location and infrastructure of the sanatorium left an excellent impression. I will strive to visit the sanatorium again.
