Despite the small size of the pool, there was always the opportunity to swim calmly. polite, competent and helpful medical staff, administration, and restaurant workers. If you are looking for a small, cozy hotel in the center, and you have no special pretensions when it comes to food, and like to relax in the evening in the sauna and swim in the pool, then Tchaikovsky will suit you.Negatives
Poor insulation of the rooms (room on the corner near the elevator), the elevator can be heard very loudly, the only solution was the use of earplugs; Lunch time is only 1 hour, from 12 to 13, and if after the procedures breakfast is until 10.00, then at 12 it is very early, until 14.00 it would be much more convenient. The food on some days left much to be desired. But overall not bad. There was a real shortage of steamed or oven vegetables. And there is a lot of salt in main dishes. The presence of lettuce helped. When cleaning the floors, which is almost every day: piles of bed linen and towels on the floor near the elevator and thrown over the railings, it’s not very aesthetically pleasing, you don’t feel comfortable. Smoking staff in front of the hotel doors: not the best calling card of a 4-star hotel. Basically: little things, but they slightly spoiled the impression of staying at the hotel. The return transfer was absolutely not thought out, as a result the trip took 2 hours longer (without traffic jams), although the quality of driving and the behavior of the drivers both there and back were at the highest level. It was my first time staying in this sanatorium, I liked it, except for the little things. The location is good, in close proximity to both the central part of the city and walking routes through the forest area. The room was warm and cozy, cleanliness was maintained daily (cleaning service). I really liked the attitude of all the staff: politeness, attentiveness, responsiveness, friendliness. The downside was the food, it was very modest, there was no choice. There were few dairy dishes, they didn’t give us cottage cheese, only in the last couple of days. Milk in a glass carafe was served cold, this is normal, but why it was also cold in a metal mug is not clear, there was no hot milk. Some salads were sour and spicy; there was a feeling that with the addition of vinegar, it had a very unpleasant taste. And one more thing, if you arrive not at 18.00, but at 18.15, you will find out that there was fish for dinner, but you no longer got it))). The downside is organizing lunch. Breakfast ends at 10.00, and lunch from 12 to 13. It would be logical from 13 to 14. The downside is the organization of issuing procedures. The first time I encountered work starting at 7 am. Many complained that they came to relax, to get some sleep, but they had to get up at 6-6.30 and have bags under their eyes from lack of sleep and headaches from disrupted sleep patterns.

Es tut mir leid, dass Ihnen das Essen nicht gefallen hat, Obst gibt´s jeden Tag zum Frühstück und auch Gemüse, zum Abendessen jeden Tag verschiedene Gemüsesalate. Wenn jemand kein Fleisch isst und kann mann nicht auswählen sag nur im Restaurant und bestimmt kommen wir entgegen. Hoffentlich beim nächsten Besuch werden Sie schon zufrieden sein.

There was a complete feeling of comfort of staying in a family (meaning business model) hotel. Attentive attitude of every employee. When, on the third day of my stay in the sanatorium, I fell down with a temperature of 39.5, instead of calling a doctor to my room (as happened once during a vacation in Spain ten years ago), it was suggested that I take a taxi and go somewhere to the hospital ... In a similar situation in the aforementioned Spain, an on-call doctor made a preliminary diagnosis, called an ambulance, and the hospital was already busy with tests, treatment and communication with the insurance company. I believe that, remembering the recent epidemic, the sanatorium staff could have taken care of isolating the patient and the person in contact with him, but nothing was done.

I rested in the sanatorium from 10/09/22 to 10/18/22. Everything is great! I booked a room overlooking the courtyard, and they put me in a luxurious room overlooking Sadovaya! The food is decent, considering that this is a sanatorium and not a “glamorous hotel.” The treatment is at a very good level. Nurses Michaela and Petra are professionals in their field!
