The excellent location of the Tchaikovsky sanatorium, the professional work of the medical staff and service personnel, and in general a friendly atmosphere. We discussed the necessary procedures with the doctor and chose the optimal course for me. It's a pity that some procedures were canceled due to the current covid situation. Not negative, just a wish. I wish the food was better. Another minus is the weak internet in the room. If you go out into the corridor, everything is immediately wonderful.

When we checked into the hotel early in the morning, we were only sent to the doctor the next day, despite our requests to be examined on the day of arrival. The medical staff are rude, especially in the balneo department. Against the backdrop of information about the coronavirus, they completely stopped performing medical procedures without notification from the hotel management, they rudely recommended leaving the hotel or staying in the room, the hotel management was completely unclient-oriented and resolving all issues caused great difficulties , the bonus trip to Prague was canceled while paid excursions remained the same. The hotel management is not interested in attracting tourists. Against the backdrop of epidemiological circumstances, many other hotels treated their guests as kindly as possible, unlike Tchaikovsky. I categorically do not recommend a stay at this hotel.

I have been vacationing in the Tchaikovsky Palace sanatorium since 03/08. to 03/18/20. Meeting at the Prague airport and transfer to the hotel took place at a decent level. There was WiFi in the car and we were able to promptly inform our loved ones about our successful arrival at the place. I booked a single room at the Tchaikovsky Hotel, upon arrival at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised to check into a double room at the Tchaikovsky Palace with a beautiful view from the window. The accommodation was comfortable, the food was delicious. There were fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and meat. There was enough of everything. The procedures went well, but I received a little more than half, due to the general emergency situation with the virus. At the same time, my request to return the difference for the early (1 day) departure and missed procedures was satisfied. This was my second time in Karlovy Vary for treatment (my last vacation was spent at the Bristol group hotel), I really liked this wonderful place, I hope to return there more than once, and I do not rule out that I will consider the Tchaikovsky Palace Hotel. To book a sanatorium in Karlovy Vary and transfer, I used the services of the website sanatoriums.com, and all arrangements were completed on time. I am very grateful to Elena Khorosheva for her recommendations and assistance in choosing a hotel.Negatives
I agree with the reviews of previous hotel clients regarding the stained tablecloths in the restaurant, as well as the low level of sound insulation in the bathrooms of neighboring rooms.

The treatment facilities (as in all spa hotels) are simplified, open until lunch and closed on Sunday (Saturday only baths). The rooms are small for two, a little cramped. If you have sore legs, it will be difficult to return from the springs to the hotel (the road to mountain).

We were in Karlovy Vary for the 7th time and each time we stayed in different hotels. So, there is something to compare with. Overall, the impressions are good. Large bright room (junior suite) with a beautiful view from the windows. The location of the hotel is suitable if you are not afraid of the distance of 990 meters to the Colonnade with springs. Very good food. The food is delicious and varied. But it’s better to come for meals when the restaurant opens. If you are late, you will only be offered leftovers. Convenience of two hotel buildings on different levels. You can also go to the street. Sadovaya through the lower level - the Tchaikovsky Hotel and to the Church of Peter and Paul through the upper level - the Tchaikovsky Palace Hotel.Negatives
The rooms are cleaned every day, but we had to remove the cobwebs from the chandelier ourselves. The cleaners were not tall enough for this, and they did not have any equipment. At the doctor's appointment, our friends were prescribed a drinking course from springs.....closed for renovation. If you need a pharmacy prescription from a doctor, then be prepared for the fact that upon departure you will be required to pay 100 CZK for each prescription written to you. Moreover, the doctor will not warn you about this in advance. There is no medical examination on the day of arrival. We have to wait until the next day. The staff of the balneo center cannot change anything in the schedule of procedures and unanimously sends me to the older sister. And if she is absent for several days, then your issue remains unresolved for these days. The treatment is very average, the procedures are standard. But the same lymphatic drainage, for example, is not included in the package of procedures and is carried out only for a fee. I'm not sure that we will want to come to this hotel again.

The stay at the Hotel Cajkowskij was more disappointing than satisfactory. Speaking from experience as I spend 2 weeks in Carlsbad every year. The first time in the Hotel Cajkowskij. The location of the hotel is positive, not so far from the Karlovy Vary promenade and the colonnade. What I didn't like: the spa treatments were too short and the selection wasn't that big, (several treatments only for a fee) the staff during the treatments were sometimes unfriendly, you had the feeling that they were overwhelmed. The wellness area is also not particularly inviting, as the swimming pool and sauna are in one room, everything is very narrow, only 2 loungers for 4 people. It is clear that they are not investing in the hotel. I'll start with the mattress, it's simply terrible, squashed to the point of impossibility. The food is monotonous, there is practically no hood, the smells are like in a Soviet canteen. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are not comfortable. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired. WiFi only works in the halls, and in the rooms and the dining room you don’t even need to look for it, the reception is tired of leaving requests, there is zero response. Выбор еды всегда, это действительно зависит от того, кто что находит, меню на 3 недели, поэтому, конечно, не случилось, что это всегда было то же самое ... У нас на самом деле нет капюшона в ресторане, еда только разогревается, вентиляция обычно есть. Размер комнаты действительно стандартный, это описано на сайте, более того, Вам была предоставлена комната с балконом Вода в бассейне 27 градусов, бассейн для плавания, это не расслабляющий бассейн
