The location is great! In the very center and within easy reach of the springs, at the same time there is a forest area with hiking trails nearby. The room is cleaned every day, the treatment is normal as in most hotels in this price category, even the doctor’s appointment is tolerable - on the eve of the appointment you fill out a questionnaire regarding what is bothering you - recommendations are clearly given at the appointment. Personally, I liked it. The food was ok, although it wasn’t always tasty. I was very pleased with the presence of the barista - you are guaranteed decent coffee in the morning!!! The procedures were completed on time without delays and at a good level. The service staff is very friendly. Special thanks to the site staff who helped make my vacation possible. When checking in, I had to communicate with the manager Ian, as I was dissatisfied with the cleaning of the room upon check-in - a dirty curtain (oilcloth!!!) for the shower, garbage behind the bedside table. When communicating, this manager responded in a rude manner, which is surprising in a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. They removed everything and replaced the curtain with a new one, but the aftertaste from communicating with him remained. We really like the Palace Zvon Hotel in terms of price-quality, solid four stars. We vacationed there in 2016 and 2017. We came for the third time in 2019 and were pleasantly surprised. The staff at the reception and in the area with the pool and baths has changed. The attitude towards vacationers has become much friendlier. The sauna and hammam became free. The medical staff has always been at the highest level, and remains so. The food in the restaurant is varied and tasty, five points for the chef. We recommend it to everyone. We ordered a transfer on the website http://www.sanatoriums.com/. We were transported from Prague airport to Marianske Lazne without any problems. And they took me back through Karlovy Vary without warning me about it. As a result, we were on the road an hour longer. Thanks to the lectures that are held in other sanatoriums, Pavel Knara is excellent, he explains in detail what and how to drink, what water to treat what diseases. The quality of the procedures prescribed were very good, but we stayed for 15 nights, and the doctor prescribed only 3 carbon dioxide baths and 3 pearl baths for 2 weeks, gas injections were excellent, massage 4 times in 2 weeks, there was also lavatherm and electric vacuum treatment (this was enough ).Many thanks to the nurses for the quality of the procedures. It was possible not to find a place to eat in the restaurant if you came from 8 to 9 and from 18 to 19, so we went to eat at other times. Although they even opened a second restaurant, it was opened and closed because it was being renovated. We are in the same hotel for the 4th time, which already speaks of a positive review. The clinic deserves special mention with its comfortable, clean treatment rooms. The treatments are carried out qualitatively by the very polite specialist staff and the results are noticeable in terms of health - we feel better every year afterwards. This year the improvement in catering as well as some investments in the entire hotel area are also evident. A special thank you to the kitchen and restaurant staff. The rooms are large and cozy, warm and bright! If someone is visiting in winter, you need to have light shirts and blouses to go to the restaurant, since it will be hot in pullovers and sweaters! Piersonas in the restaurant is very unfriendly oregant waiters. Any question is answered in a rude manner. Eda is just terrible, everything is cold. And the treatment is not any better, everything is designed for mass distribution. For a place of 30 minutes they only do 15 minutes and that’s bad. I only attended the procedures for one day; the rest of the days I didn’t go. This is my worst vacation in the Czech Republic. I vacation there every year, but there was no such horror.
