The price there, of course, was twice as high, but the tables were laden with all sorts of goodies, and here it was empty and hungry. It all started with dinner at 7 p.m., the dishes were according to the holiday menu, everything was quite edible, they were served one after another: a small salad, soup, duck with prunes, a glass of red wine, and finally, for some reason, pancakes, although the chef prepares excellent desserts on ordinary days . Everyday dinner always included a buffet of salads and various appetizers and a basket of bread. There was none of that here, not even bread. By 20.00 everything was eaten, we sat at empty tables, ordered wine and plum brandy, but nothing for a snack. We found a couple of dry breads somewhere. And that's it, 3 hours later they brought meager snacks - dried fish stuffed with meat, a couple of salads and various fruits, and a small bottle of champagne for each. Somewhere around one in the morning they put out a buffet of hot meat snacks, but who needs them when everything is coming to an end? It would be better to have a regular dinner with plenty of appetizers and salads, then the guests would not sit hungry all evening at empty tables. On the first of January, breakfast began, naturally, an hour later, it was combined with lunch, there was a buffet with hot dishes until 13 o'clock, although lunch usually ends at 14. It was called brunch, and why did they charge us an extra 20 euros for it, I Didn't understand. After all, breakfast and lunch were included in the price of our trip. I tried to explain to the lady at the reception that such an additional payment must be taken with half board, but she pretended that she did not understand me.
