And as I understand it, this is a common occurrence. And she also said to take a blood test, and the plateau is all, we didn’t know, it costs 30 euros. The hotel is located in a coniferous forest, the air is like a fairy tale. The food is good and varied. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff is very helpful and attentive. There is a slight climb from the Colonade to the hotel, but this does not bother people with normal physical abilities, but in general there are six or seven paths from the goat trail from the Labe Hotel 70 meters and along the normal road through the Zvezda Hotel along Lesnaya Street about 500 meters, but there are no signs , as they said in a conversation with manager (director) Martin. Few gas injections are given on the back (only 4), although in Karlovy Vary it is completely along the spine. One of the nurses is not very proficient in this specialty, giving gas injections was very painful and left bruises after that. Very monotonous and tasteless food, they refuse to put regular water on the table, something that is accepted in absolutely all hotels in the world, all the most common requests are always answered negatively, it’s impossible to even get an extra cup of tea. We always heard the words “no” and “I don’t know” even from the manager. The quality of service is low, there is a complete lack of professionalism. There is no desire to work so that vacationers are satisfied.

I didn’t like the New Year’s dinner, which was offered at the hotel for an additional fee of 70 euros (60 dinner and 10 morning brunch on January 1) upon arrival. I haven’t seen any reviews about New Year’s dinner at this hotel, so I’ll write my impressions. We were at similar events in Zvezda and Central Lazne, so we have something to compare with. The price there, of course, was twice as high, but the tables were laden with all sorts of goodies, and here it was empty and hungry. It all started with dinner at 7 p.m., the dishes were according to the holiday menu, everything was quite edible, they were served one after another: a small salad, soup, duck with prunes, a glass of red wine, and finally, for some reason, pancakes, although the chef prepares excellent desserts on ordinary days . Everyday dinner always included a buffet of salads and various appetizers and a basket of bread. There was none of that here, not even bread. By 20.00 everything was eaten, we sat at empty tables, ordered wine and plum brandy, but nothing for a snack. We found a couple of dry breads somewhere. And that's it, 3 hours later they brought meager snacks - dried fish stuffed with meat, a couple of salads and various fruits, and a small bottle of champagne for each. Somewhere around one in the morning they put out a buffet of hot meat snacks, but who needs them when everything is coming to an end? It would be better to have a regular dinner with plenty of appetizers and salads, then the guests would not sit hungry all evening at empty tables. On the first of January, breakfast began, naturally, an hour later, it was combined with lunch, there was a buffet with hot dishes until 13 o'clock, although lunch usually ends at 14. It was called brunch, and why did they charge us an extra 20 euros for it, I Didn't understand. After all, breakfast and lunch were included in the price of our trip. I tried to explain to the lady at the reception that such an additional payment must be taken with half board, but she pretended that she did not understand me. Maybe, after reading this review, the hotel management will draw some conclusions for the future about holding New Year's dinners and breakfasts.

I would like this problem to be solved. One more note, but it does not apply specifically to this hotel, because it seems to me that this is generally accepted in all spa hotels. This is when you have to come with your diagnoses and the doctor, after looking at them, prescribes procedures for you. What if it was a long time ago or didn’t happen at all and the person wants to know how his health is? So, for example, at the Chinar - Naftalan hotel in Azerbaijan, upon arrival you visit all the doctors - they do an ultrasound, an x-ray, a cardiogram, you take tests, and based on these and, if there are any early diagnoses, they prescribe treatment.
