The hotel is very clean both literally and energetically. The doctors and nurses are very attentive and qualified. You can contact the reception with any question, be it ordering a taxi, changing a robe, ordering a beer bath, etc. The pool is open from early morning until 21:00 which is quite enough. The food is wonderful. In the morning, 2 types of blue cheese and 3 types of hard cheese. For lunch and dinner there is beef, pork, chicken, fish and for vegetarians. No one will go hungry. In the evening there are always different fruits. Thank you very much to all the staff for wishing me a happy birthday and flowers. We will definitely come again and recommend to friends.Negatives

A weak manual massage and do it instead of 15 for a maximum of 12 minutes. Nurse Maria does not clean the bathtub properly after a previous patient. It would be good to lengthen the time of the dry carbon dioxide bath. There was not enough shelf in the shower stall.

The sanatorium is wonderful: beautiful views from the window, classic Czech interior, the price of the contents in the refrigerator in the room is minimal. Excellent infrastructure, a very good swimming pool with a sauna and jacuzzi complex, a cafe with excellent beer and prices even lower than in the city. The restaurant has a choice of 5 dishes for lunch and dinner, free drinks + a delicious dessert, which has never been repeated in 14 days. For breakfast there is a choice of cereals, eggs in 4 cooking options, fruits, muesli, cottage cheese, yoghurts - there is something to feed the children. The staff is attentive and polite. No language problems. Procedures and their timing can be changed. We didn’t expect that we would like rehabilitation and massage, which usually involves stroking. Here are the best carbon dioxide baths, comparing hotels in ML and Frantiskovy Lazne. Dr. Magdalena Kozlowska, thank you for the good treatment package, drug recommendations and the sensitivity you showed towards our children. Special thanks to the director of Royal, who gave us a round trip transfer to the ML station. For the hotel this is a small thing, but for us - with infant twins, 2 strollers, 8 bags and 4 adults - it is comfort. This is our fourth time vacationing in Marianka - Royal is the best! I recommend it to everyone who appreciates quality treatment, silence and amenities.Negatives

I really liked the hotel! Instead of the comfort room we had booked, we were placed in a 2-room superior with windows overlooking both the city and the forest (at no extra charge). Roe deer come out to the hotel, apparently the staff feeds them, we saw their tracks on the hotel grounds, but the animals themselves were only seen from a window on the slope. Silence and beauty. High-quality and tasty food in the restaurant, the staff is friendly and welcoming, everyone speaks Russian. An attentive doctor, competent nurses, all issues are resolved immediately, they try to help with everything, the schedule of procedures can be changed if necessary. Excellent carbon dioxide baths! Comfortable beds with a hard mattress, cleaning daily. The bar has excellent spicy beer (which is rare for hotels). The climb up the mountain is 45 degrees, but this is even a plus after delicious and hearty breakfasts and lunches.

I didn’t like the negligent attitude of the medical staff who performed the procedures --- at gymnastics (rehabilitation) -- she suggested lying down on a used sheet, and when he asked to replace it with a clean one, there was none. During the inhalation, the treatment nurse (her name is Maria) added water from the tap - and this was in front of the patients! During the CO-2 baths, she once simply added water to the bathtub, instead of washing the bathtub and drawing fresh water...

The hotel is located on a hill. Several paths and paths from steep ones - 3-5 minutes slowly to a gentle sidewalk along the road - 10 minutes of a pleasant walk. I'm not sure if this is a drawback, we enjoyed the walks.

2 minuses. 1. Drinks at lunch and dinner for extra money. I wish the hotel to switch to a buffet for food. Now the buffet happens 2-3 times a week. The rest of the time, dishes were made to order, which were often too dry. 2. I was surprised by the paid parking on site (5 euros per day). I haven't encountered this before.

We chose Royal based on relatively good reviews. The only negative, judging by the website, was the location of the hotel on the mountain. This turned out to be not such a difficult problem - there are several roads, paths and paths leading to the sanatorium. Depending on your physical capabilities, you can choose the most suitable one. And so, indeed, the forest with its air and beauty is right in front of your windows. Now regarding accommodation. We booked a comfort room. The hotel advertisement indicated that rooms of this category should be located in buildings 1 and 2. We were accommodated in building 3, where the rooms of the standard category are located. Now about the treatment. Some good procedures were prescribed. I especially liked the individual sessions with a physiotherapist, laser and cryo. But again, a small “but” - there were no procedures indicated in the advertisement of the sanatorium, and some were initially paid, which, again, was not noted in the advertisement. Now the food: the breakfasts were completely monotonous throughout the 2 weeks of our stay. Good soup at lunch. Everything regarding the choice of lunch and dinner from the menu is more than sad. The meat is tough, even the chicken was ruined beyond recognition. For dinner, one bowl of salad for the entire hotel and some sandwiches. The only plus is that at lunch and dinner you can order tea, which is included in the price. And one more unpleasant moment. Immediately after our departure, the hotel was closed for renovations. But it had already begun to be partially completed a week before the closure. Of course, we tried to work as invisibly as possible, but it was simply unrealistic. In general, we rate the work of the employees as good, but the sanatorium itself is a solid 3 stars, no more.

Special thanks to Dr. Mrs. Vladelena Kozlovskaya for her high professionalism and kind, caring attitude towards vacationers. Wonderful healing base, unique water. Professional staff, friendly attitude. The sanatorium has an excellent location for nature lovers - it is located in the forest itself, there is magnificent air and silence, at the same time, not far from the colonnade. A big plus is the presence of a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, which are available at any time of the day.

We rested with my wife from August 24 to September 14, 2015. I liked the hotel. The treatment is good. The staff is friendly and does their job well. Instead of a standard room, we were placed in a large three-room suite (no extra charge). The food is good, but the breakfast is a little monotonous. The hotel is located on a hill.
