These are probably not even disadvantages, but something that surprised us or a little saddened us, given that this is not our first time in Lazne: I felt sad immediately upon check-in, since the reservation was made in euros, but they offered to pay only in crowns, the amount of the reservation was in euros I was not interested in the result of an overpayment of 90 euros, whether it was due to a difference in rates (we booked in advance) or for some other reason is not clear. This is not critical, but unpleasant, such situations have not arisen before when booking other hotels... Another sad thing is that water is paid for lunch and dinner, I don’t mind paying 15 CZK for 0.5 water, but first you need to wait for the waiter, order water for him, then wait until they bring it, and with children this is not always easy, unfortunately, just as there is not always time for this between procedures. We were not ready for this, tea, coffee, juices, wine, beer - that’s understandable, but the water surprised us. The food is quite monotonous, there is nothing to feed small children (up to 2-3 years old), porridge at breakfast is only made to order, we tried it once, waited 15 minutes for the oatmeal, during which time the child was exhausted and ate too many muffins, so for breakfast either eggs (omelet or fried eggs ) or cottage cheese-yogurt, with a wonderful selection of cheeses, hams, pates. The baked goods are delicious, but the same type - cupcakes in different versions. They try to diversify lunches and dinners, but from the menu it’s difficult to guess what you’ll get and how much you’ll want it in a day or two, since it’s suggested to order in advance several days in advance. The occasional buffet for dinner makes up for this a little. The same salads get completely boring after 2 weeks. The soups are delicious, they are available for lunch and dinner (the same ones throughout the day). The cleaning of the rooms was a little surprising - provided that there were reminders on the walls of the bathroom that towels were changed, if they were left on the floor (calling for our responsibility), they magically returned to the hook regardless of the degree of soiling (children are children, so this was clearly noticeable for us), they change it clearly on certain days, in 2 weeks they changed it 3 times, as did the bed linen, the towels for the pool were not changed, but we didn’t go there often, so it’s not scary. There is no wet cleaning in principle, since the entire room, except the bathroom, is carpeted, as a result there is constant dust on all shelves and cabinets, which, as usual, is not wiped off by the maids, so if you react to dust, you will have to get rid of it yourself, but this is general disease of most hotels.Answer from Spa Hotel Royal
Добрый день. Что касается оплаты в евро против кроны, то при оплате кредитной картой cумма всегда в валюте той страны, в которой Вы платите. В евро, конечно, можно оплатить наличными везде.После заказа ждут напитков повсюду в мире. Вода уже оплачивается в большинстве ресторанов. Если наши клиенты желают специального питания, или для детей, или по поводу диет, их можно заказать у персонала. Наши горничные всегда меняют полотенца (даже и по желанию клиента), но у клиента есть выбор, хочет-ли их поменить. There were practically no downsides. The only thing we could suggest to the hotel management is to try to stipulate in the rules of residence the observance of silence during procedures. And of course, it is necessary to maintain silence after 9 pm and before 9 am. People of completely different ages come to the hotel, and some need to go to bed early, while others need to sleep longer. This condition is completely easy to comply with, since the hotel has a bar until 11 pm, there is a beautiful veranda overlooking the city, where you can sit as much as you like, laugh, chat, sing - and this will not bother anyone, since all the rooms are located far from the bar . Here is a request to the administration - be sure to warn tourists about observing the rule of silence. Otherwise, everything is fine. Thank you very much again!

Often there is a buffet for dinner. There was never such a large buffet before. And if there was, there was always something interesting. Now it’s 3-4 times a week. And there's not much choice. The meat is often dry.

The sanatorium is located at the very top of the mountain. People who have problems with the musculoskeletal system, lungs, heart and many other diseases will not be able to go for a walk every day in the park and then climb the mountain!!!! For us young people it was sometimes hard !

I vacationed at the Royal sanatorium for the second time. For me, the location of the sanatorium is ideal in a forested area, clean air and silence, however, people with problems with the cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system should keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill and there is a fairly steep climb to it. From a price-quality standpoint, everything suited me: the quantity, schedule and quality of treatment procedures, food, cozy rooms. The sanatorium employs mostly friendly and qualified staff, which contributes to a comfortable rest and treatment. Thank them very much for this. Reservations were always made through Sanatoriums, everything was clear without any hiccups. Overall a great experience at the Sanatorium and the hotel. The transfer from the airport took place as scheduled and was delivered to the hotel courtyard. Reception - everything is great. The hotel is impressive in size, no neighbors can be heard, one side faces the forest. Walk into the forest right from the door. It’s 7 minutes downhill to the Colonade, back uphill, we had fun, and even older people can do it. Doctor (number 1) - very good impression. The treatment facility is impressive - everything is spacious, on several floors. Nurse around the clock. The staff is friendly. The quality of food is normal, but not pretentious - there are options for an individual approach and diets, but we did not use them. The cooks and waiters tried their best. I would like a kettle in the room or a cooler with hot water for general use; It makes more sense to move the smoking room some distance from the entrance to the spa hotel; there is very little sweetness for tea, from the word “at all”, for example, during the 15 days of our vacation, we managed to try pudding only 1 time because what is served at dinner ends within 15 minutes, sometimes you still want something sweet for tea; We were interested in a vacation for next year, but after looking at the prices (much more expensive for the same period with the same package when booking a YEAR in advance), we think that we will look for an alternative option, but it’s a pity, we really liked the hotel!
