For the second time I vacationed at the Royal sanatorium. Excellent work by the medical staff, workers at the reception, in the restaurant and cafe. Thank you all very much. The procedures were of high quality and were completed on schedule. The rooms and cleaning are excellent. Bed linen was changed every 4 days. Hygiene products in the bathroom were reported to the regulator. The food was mostly ok, but there were days with very salty soups and not very tasty dishes. But the cheeses and pate for breakfast are excellent.Negatives

Many thanks to the sanatorium. Excellent location despite the fact that it is located a little on a hill. The sanatorium has a swimming pool that can be visited at any time. Also a tennis court - free rackets and balls, we played and liked everything. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Room cleaning is decent. After reading reviews on the website about the doctor, we prepared ourselves for the negative, but upon entering the office we realized that the doctor was friendly and friendly. I would really like to mention the medical staff, and especially Maiky-Maika (the woman who does the baths), she is truly a professional in her field. She treats every patient with such sincerity and kindness. My deepest thanks to her and my deepest regards. Everything is done on time, so don’t be late for the procedures. Unfortunately, there are also negative aspects - this is associated with the massage procedure. Of course, complete profanation. The massage procedure takes 10-12 minutes, and it feels like a specialist (a young man did it for me) is far from a specialist, since I myself work in a similar field and I have something to compare with, so when distributing it, it’s better to replace the massage with something else . There is also a young girl working in the baths, unfortunately I don’t know her name, it’s better not to go to her - she works “carelessly” - one of the points is that she doesn’t put patients to rest after a carbon dioxide bath, as is supposed to be done.

I chose a quiet, relaxing hotel and spa - the Royal Hotel fully corresponded to my ideas about relaxation and treatment. It is surrounded by forest on both sides, which means beautiful, fresh air and absolute silence in the morning and evening hours. Plus daily walks in the forest; walking poles can be rented at the hotel (free of charge). But I would not recommend this hotel to people with serious cardiovascular diseases and musculoskeletal diseases. The hotel is located on a mountain and the climb is very steep, it is especially difficult to go down to the colonnade (it is an 8-minute walk) after the rain, it is slippery. Good news for swimmers: the hotel has a swimming pool that can be used almost all day and a jacuzzi. The medical staff during the procedures were attentive and helpful, and my wishes were always taken into account. It was possible to calmly reschedule the procedures. I lived in a double room, the room was spacious, there was a refrigerator, TV, safe, bathrobe, hairdryer. And, what was important for me, a spacious, comfortable shower. The room was cleaned daily. The food (I took breakfast and dinner) is standard, breakfast is a buffet, dinner is a buffet every day, and the day is an order from the menu. The food was well prepared and varied. There were always fruits, vegetables in various forms, meat, fish, and baked goods. In addition, the hotel itself has a cafe with an open veranda, which offers a beautiful view of the city.Negatives
Unfortunately, in my case, in addition to the pros, there were also cons. On Sunday, having returned from an excursion at 20.15, I tried to have dinner (the restaurant, as stated in the advertisement on the restaurant door, is open until 20.30). The restaurant was already closed and at the reception they told me that I was late. And another unpleasant moment is associated with an examination by a doctor (Kozlovska Prim.MUDr.). Having arrived for the initial examination at the appointed time, I waited 15 minutes near the office door, then knocked. The doctor came out and was very surprised at my arrival :-)) And she rescheduled my appointment to a later time. There was also a misunderstanding with the 2nd inspection, or rather it simply did not take place. When I arrived at the appointed time, the doctor said that she could not see me because... is busy sending the patient to the hospital, and will examine me later, for the last procedure. But this never happened. It was unpleasant, but against a generally good background, I tried not to spoil my vacation by finding out the reasons for such inattention on the part of the doctor.

The only thing that didn’t suit my wife was the climb to the hotel, it was a very steep climb and after her illness it was difficult for her to climb. And everything else is just wonderful. Breakfast is standard, but for lunch and dinner there is too little choice, sometimes a bad translation in the name of a dish is misleading, it would be nice to take a photo. I liked the hotel very much, this was the seventh time we’ve been to Marianske Lazne, and there’s something to compare it with. We were in Zvezda, and in Central and Novi Lazne. We were satisfied with all the sanatoriums, but Royal exceeded all expectations. This is an excellent medical facility, a good doctor, Mrs. Kozlovskaya, attentive and responsive staff, and the cook and kitchen are beyond praise. There were no such delicious salads, appetizers, soups and hot dishes in any of the sanatoriums we had previously visited in Lazne. I would also like to mention nurse Teresa Galochkova - the girl gives gas injections magically and does not hurt at all. The hotel has a very good location in the forest, and at the same time, the springs are a five-minute leisurely walk away. It was a bit of a hill back, but it didn’t bother us. We will be happy to return to the hotel again. I would also like to note the very convenient and easy booking of tours and transfers on the sanatorium website and the very prompt and efficient work of the entire team. Rude attitude of the staff. Treatment based on the so-called examination by a generalist doctor left a complete negative result. The food is disgusting, not only is it monotonous, it also does not take into account the dietary needs of the guests. In all this time I have never managed to meet with a nutritionist. It seems that since the opening, the administration of the sanatorium hotel, without investing anything, has been trying in every possible way to return its investment. My advice to anyone who wants to improve their health is under no circumstances to go to Royal.

I didn't really like the schedule of procedures. We were prescribed 3-4 procedures per day. The break between procedures could be from 1 to 4 hours. For example, the 1st procedure was at 7.30, the second at 9.00, then at 11.00 and at 13.00, and sometimes after lunch. That is, from 7.30 until the last procedure it was impossible to go out for a walk.

The procedures that we received .. none of the medical staff kept up with the appointed time .. and for some reason they were always not happy with our arrival. and the massage .. the last three sessions for which I paid money are some kind of nightmare... I didn’t finish the last 2 massages, I got up and left... and also gas injections need to be done lying down... and when you come for an injection, they injected you standing and every time they asked where to inject Didn’t the Kozlovsk doctor write where the injection should be given? At the reception, we did not see a doctor, but something like a programmed robot: questions from her side - short answers from ours; my attempts to add or clarify anything were interrupted and, unfortunately, not always correct. As a result, honey. Sisters, I received a printout of the procedures, which surprised me a lot! For example, the appointment of a laser on a suture from an operation performed about 40 years ago... Some procedures were replaced thanks to the professionalism of the medical team. sisters and their great desire to be needed by people, but the negative from visiting the doctor, to our great regret, remained. We refused the second scheduled appointment, because we came to the sanatorium for health, and health is, first of all, positive emotions.
