Upon arrival, we were a little lost on which side to enter the hotel. There is no information on the back of the hotel. I had to stand at the information desk for about 4 minutes, waiting for the employee to talk on the phone. From the conversation it was clear that the conversation was private, not about work. The food was tolerable, there wasn’t much variety, it was somehow difficult with fruits. Although we had half board, there was probably enough for lunch. The swimming pool and sauna were particularly inconvenient. The pool is small, there are no lockers for things, you need to bring your own towels from your room. There is no place to change clothes as such. Sharma. Everyone who is there changes clothes after her. Despite the fact that the website indicates free access to the sauna, it must be booked in advance. At the same time, everyone who is there also enters the sauna. The question is, why make it so complicated? As for the rest, spending time, even as we did, without treatment, is quite acceptable.

The room in which we were placed did not correspond to the one shown in the photographs and videos on the website when booking, a very small bathroom in which it is absolutely impossible to place washing utensils and cosmetics, there is only one socket in the room and it is somewhere far under the table. The food is quite monotonous, of course you won’t go hungry, but you won’t get much pleasure either. Once in 10 days there was red fish, which ran out 5 minutes after the restaurant opened, they tried to convince us that there were 40 servings of fish, while there were no more than 15 people in the restaurant at that moment.

There is too little choice of fruit at breakfast. For dinner you have to be there at 6pm sharp, otherwise you won't get everything that's actually available. You basically have to eat the leftovers, as there's only a small amount of everything. The construction site right in front of the hotel was also very annoying.

For the first time in 20 years of visiting this beautiful resort, we saw such a meager selection in the restaurant. We were on vacation with a child and he had practically nothing to choose from to eat. If breakfast can still be called breakfast, there were at least vegetables and sliced oranges. Then there was no fruit at all at dinner .there were no chopped vegetables. For some reason, all the salads were mixed with mayonnaise or sour cream. And the half board buffet ordered on the tour did not live up to the name. The restaurant employee gave out hot food in only one plate, explaining that the plates were counted and there needed to be enough for everyone. But if people they came to dinner at least half an hour later after the buffet opened. They didn’t have enough fish or dessert; one day there wasn’t even enough side dish. It felt like I was getting rations in a prison canteen. “Free.” Since I don’t eat meat, it was difficult for me to find something to my liking. It was also difficult for the child without desserts; at dinner, if you managed to grab a piece of the not tasty rubber biscuit, it was good. It’s good that the city is not far away and you could buy something tasty in the city. The Czech Republic has always been hospitable and hospitable for us. What happened this time I I don’t understand. Probably not the right choice of hotel. Also, road repair work interfered with the rest in the room. It was very noisy. And lack of parking if you wanted. Due to the repairs, it was impossible to drive up to the main entrance. I had to carry things myself and it was a bit far away. It was not possible to roll the suitcase because the paving slabs were removed due to the repairs. But this is a temporary phenomenon, and I hope the repairs will end quickly and everything will be convenient for other guests. But the situation with food needs to be corrected so as not to lose customers. Another complaint about the sauna, I understand that time is a difficult time to save money. The sauna is turned on only at a certain time and upon request. And they give out one sheet even though we came as a family. But we probably need to stop writing negative reviews. We had a good time, got some treatment, had a rest. We talked with good, kind people. We received a lot of positive emotions. And minor problems did not spoil our vacation. We wish you to correct the shortcomings in the restaurant and there will be more customers and many will want to come back next time. Your staff is excellent .Thanks for understanding

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We liked everything very much. The hotel is clean, the food is delicious and the staff is also very friendly. The center is not far from the hotel, of course you have to walk a bit to get to the colonnades with mineral water, but that is more of an advantage. The Orthodox church is around the corner. I would recommend the hotel and if we travel to Karlovy Vary again, we would book the hotel again.Negatives

The sanatorium is located in one of the most cozy corners of the city. Every time, returning after a walk, I was amazed by the magnificent picture of the golden-domed Orthodox Church. Silence, peace, and birdsong are conducive to peace. The inside of the building is very clean, excellent ventilation, fresh air everywhere. Very friendly staff. The nurse redid my schedule of procedures because some combinations were difficult for me to endure. At the reception they were ready to help and advise if we asked about something. The food is quite varied, deliciously prepared dishes, with a small selection of dishes. There was fish every day and 2-3 meat dishes from different varieties. I tried duck and even rabbit. All menus are designed to suit different tastes. I am lactose intolerant and every morning I received lactose-free dairy products individually. The cooks and waiters are very friendly, I recommend this resort to everyone. I wish all the best to all the staff!

When planning a trip and booking a hotel online, as a rule, they choose a hotel “blindly”, focusing only on advertising descriptions. But advertising is not always true. This is what happened in my case. Hotel Tchaikovsky **** Check-in to room 403 (double), without balcony. The room is small, the view from the window is onto the street. The cleanliness of the room needs to be better! Dust is everywhere, at the head of the bed, on the bedside tables, on the TV, dust hanging from the ceiling. The TV needed adjusting and the bedside sconces didn't work. Empty boxes of tissues and toilet paper were left in the toilet. Worth the trouble of a broken tap. The food in the hotel does not correspond to the description.... The choice is small and tasteless... Treatment: superficial examination by a doctor. I was with a child (7 years old) who was coughing and even the doctor did not examine him. The appointment of procedures is not based on anything. Same thing for everyone. The inhaler is not working. The names of the procedures vary, but in the end they are just warm baths. The rooms are cleaned from the very morning (pointless), they came to my room at 8.00 - my child and I were still sleeping!!! The hotel staff speaks Russian and simply do their job. I do not recommend this hotel!

The staff at the reception is very good except for GALINA 🙈 It left a very bad aftertaste I hope if we get together next year at this Hotel we won’t end up with her again on the day of arrival.
