The sanatorium is located in one of the most cozy corners of the city. Every time, returning after a walk, I was amazed by the magnificent picture of the golden-domed Orthodox Church. Silence, peace, and birdsong are conducive to peace. The inside of the building is very clean, excellent ventilation, fresh air everywhere. Very friendly staff. The nurse redid my schedule of procedures because some combinations were difficult for me to endure. At the reception they were ready to help and advise if we asked about something. The food is quite varied, deliciously prepared dishes, with a small selection of dishes. There was fish every day and 2-3 meat dishes from different varieties. I tried duck and even rabbit. All menus are designed to suit different tastes. I am lactose intolerant and every morning I received lactose-free dairy products individually. The cooks and waiters are very friendly, I recommend this resort to everyone. I wish all the best to all the staff!

When planning a trip and booking a hotel online, as a rule, they choose a hotel “blindly”, focusing only on advertising descriptions. But advertising is not always true. This is what happened in my case. Hotel Tchaikovsky **** Check-in to room 403 (double), without balcony. The room is small, the view from the window is onto the street. The cleanliness of the room needs to be better! Dust is everywhere, at the head of the bed, on the bedside tables, on the TV, dust hanging from the ceiling. The TV needed adjusting and the bedside sconces didn't work. Empty boxes of tissues and toilet paper were left in the toilet. Worth the trouble of a broken tap. The food in the hotel does not correspond to the description.... The choice is small and tasteless... Treatment: superficial examination by a doctor. I was with a child (7 years old) who was coughing and even the doctor did not examine him. The appointment of procedures is not based on anything. Same thing for everyone. The inhaler is not working. The names of the procedures vary, but in the end they are just warm baths. The rooms are cleaned from the very morning (pointless), they came to my room at 8.00 - my child and I were still sleeping!!! The hotel staff speaks Russian and simply do their job. I do not recommend this hotel!

The staff at the reception is very good except for GALINA 🙈 It left a very bad aftertaste I hope if we get together next year at this Hotel we won’t end up with her again on the day of arrival. She could come into the sauna room and swear that we took 3 sheets between us, took one and left swearing It was a very unpleasant situation 🤔 The last day we were left completely without clean towels 🤷♀️ They took away the dirty ones but didn’t put in the clean ones.Answer from Spa Hotel Cajkovskij

In 5 days the room was not cleaned even once. Towels were not changed. Very uncomfortable beds, cheap foam mattress. The pillow... is something flimsy consisting of separate lumps. The pool is designed for 1 person...the woman at the reception desk is rude. I didn't want to ask her anything. The location of the hotel is convenient. Very cordial staff, many thanks to Monica. We felt at home. Treatment, all in one building, no need to wait long for the elevator, convenient. Not a very big hotel. The nurses are very friendly, everyone. The room was cleaned, bed linen, bathrobe and towels were changed, everything was fine. We stayed for 10 nights. The location of the hotel is good, but the walk to the hotel is uphill. But this is a small minus. Taking your time is fine. No negativity.

There were many clients to the doctor, maybe that’s why the consultation was so quick and superficial. Due to the workload of the staff, it was problematic to distribute the procedures as convenient for us. The rooms have heating, but no climate control (as indicated on the website).

The transfer from the sanatorium was very poorly organized: it took twice as long to get there than to the Czech Republic. This is unacceptable. The quality and quantity of prepared food in the sanatorium is unsatisfactory. This is the first time such an experience has taken place in Karlovy Vary sanatoriums.

Breakfast and dinner was a disaster, the food wasn't warm enough, dinner started to be cleaned up at 7 p.m., even though the restaurant was open until 8 p.m. When I arrive around 7 p.m. everything has been eaten and there will be no more supplies.

The food does not correspond to the level of a four-star hotel! The lack of staff in the treatment rooms leads to the fact that procedures are not performed properly! Although the staff tries to respond to comments! It was cold in the hotel during the daytime, the heating is turned off, there is a possibility of hypothermia after swimming in the pool. The entrance to the pool is located opposite the entrance to the hotel, which is also not very comfortable, especially in the cold season! I really regret that I ignored the negative reviews and chose this hotel!

We had a doctor's examination the next day after our arrival, very late...at 14:30...already at the end of their working day. And only 1 procedure in the morning before the doctor’s examination that day. Well, it’s hard to call it an examination...it’s more of a conversation: what diseases are there, are there any allergies...and the prescription of procedures for everyone is “standard”...so harmless...mainly baths, massage, inhalations, mud compresses, oxygen therapy, paraffin gloves... Better ask yourself and ask for the procedures you want, such as lymphatic drainage or gas injections.. Of the minuses... Wi-Fi was very poor... in the restaurant, at the reception it connected every other time... In the room (Tchaikovsky Palace) it didn’t connect at all! The rooms were cleaned nominally... well, at least the floors weren't vacuumed... Pieces of dust fell from the curtains when you pulled them back from above. And it’s very hot in the rooms... even if I set the system to cooling, hot air still came out... I had to open the windows.
