Not the first time in Monti. So I can compare. They recently renovated - the rooms and everything else are new, everything works, it’s clean. They changed the chefs - the buffets in the morning and evening became noticeably better, very good, plus a variety of desserts, fruits a little worse (spring), there is enough food. Well, the pool, which was a definite plus, remains the same, and the opening hours have also been extended - so you can swim before or after dinner. There is also a hammam (free), which is also nice. The lobby bar with various drinks is open until 10 and you can sit quietly if you don’t want to go straight to your room. Treatment is normal, all the basic procedures are there, you can change along the way if you don’t like something. There are no live queues - just come at your own time, with the exception of gas injections - there is a queue. The general atmosphere is very quiet, cozy, everything for relaxation. Not for young people. If there are any questions or problems, it is better to solve them with the new director Galina. All problems are resolved instantly. Very nice woman. Here's the staff... not everyone speaks Russian, neither speaks English, only German. Sometimes it's difficult because of this. Well, the fact that Monty is on the hill, some are a minus, some are a plus. Plus - there is no fuss, the forest is nearby - you can immediately walk. But the disadvantage is obvious - it’s a bit far from the sources - about 1.5 km. For me, for example, this is a plus - if you want it. you don’t want to, but you have to go for a walk, even if you’re lazy. But if you have problems with walking, then Monty is definitely not for you. Cleaning in the rooms is a C grade, although they clean them every day. If full board, then lunch leaves much to be desired. It happens that salads are yesterday’s and inedible. Well, the last thing - Monty is becoming more expensive and the prices are catching up to 4* hotels in the center. Well, here everyone decides for themselves whether it’s silence and forest, or glamor in the center.

We visit Marianske Lazne every year, we love this resort and can appreciate the benefits of Monti. The location of the sanatorium makes it possible to take walks along the terenkur. In any case, at least twice a day to the Colonnade and back. This is a nice walk through a beech and pine forest with the cleanest air and a lot of impressions of being one with nature. What else do you need at a resort if not walks and healing water? The sanatorium is gorgeous both for its appearance of an ancient castle at a commanding height with stunning views of the surrounding area, and for its interior decoration, free space, wide corridors and autonomy - everything is there: a swimming pool, a lobby bar, two restaurants, a concert hall, a conference room, 2- Live music 3 times a week. Rooms are cleaned every day without reminders, towels and bathrobes are replaced at any time convenient for visitors. Special thanks to the maids who service the second floor (No. 218). We were in different sanatoriums in Lazne, but this year’s Monty surpasses everyone, even himself from three years ago. Renovated rooms and halls, friendly, welcoming staff capable of maintaining a dialogue in many languages. A separate story is the buffet (breakfast and dinner). I liked everything, from freshly squeezed various juices, soups and broths every morning to a good selection of salads, desserts and main dishes for dinner. By the way, the prices for drinks offered for dinner are quite affordable compared to other hotels, which makes evening trips to local pubs unnecessary. Many thanks to the entire Monty team for a wonderful vacation. We recommend the hotel for treatment, accommodation and comfortable relaxation. For the information of animal lovers, dogs are also accommodated in the rooms. :)

I have been to Marianske Lazne several times, since the mineral water here is very suitable for me, I have rested in Central Lazne, in the Crystal Palace, and Palace Zvon. On this visit, I wanted more privacy, so as not to live in the center, but in a quieter place. Monty was recommended to me at sanatoriums.com, I think that he is the best choice in terms of price and quality ratio. We paid a small amount and received essentially the same services as in more expensive hotels. Judge for yourself, except for mineral baths like in those hotels where I previously vacationed, in Monti the whole range of procedures is almost the same, the same massages, electrical treatments, paraffin, dry carbon dioxide baths. That is, if you come to a resort to drink water, then why spend money on expensive hotels, the effect of the procedures is the same. I liked the food at Monti, everything was fresh, the choice was excellent, even if the menu didn’t change for three days, there was plenty to choose from. The soups and salads were especially delicious. There is always the freshest baked goods in the morning, and they are sold out quite quickly. Therefore, my advice is that while you are choosing the main dish, do not forget to immediately take a couple of croissants; at Monti they are prepared simply incomparably. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, aristocratically, it is pleasant to eat in such an environment. As for the treatment, as I already said, everything is at a good level. The procedures were done on time, the medical staff was pleasant and polite. You feel like they are waiting for you here and doing everything to make the person come back again. There is a room for evening relaxation, it is spacious, there is a lobby bar where you can sit and read and drink champagne. By the way, they even come with small children, for whom the children's corner works. What I can say in conclusion is that time was spent with benefits for health and the nervous system. I definitely intend to come back at least a couple more times.

The worst experience was seeing a doctor. More precisely, it was a 3-minute (2 people) visit to the doctor’s office, although my husband and I did not see the doctor there. The second most important bad impression is the qualifications of the massage therapist, or rather the complete absence of them. But I hasten to note that I am talking about only one massage therapist (a tall young man with a goatee who looks like he is taking some kind of medication). My husband had another massage therapist and was quite pleased with his work. It was an unpleasant surprise that there were no free drinks at all in the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is surrounded by greenery, a real detached castle, bordered by a forest, but at the same time it has its own landscaped area. It’s a long walk to the springs, but you can borrow Nordic walking poles for free, just be prepared to make a deposit. So every day on the way to the springs we had cardio, exercise and a good mood. The treatment is excellent, I liked it, no complaints. Leisure is organized, there is a children's corner, musical evenings are held several times a week in the evenings, a very large swimming pool with panoramic glazing.

We were together September 5-17. We are about 60 years old. An excellent room for two, with a balcony and stunning views of the heavenly beauty and the turrets and tiled roofs of the houses of Marianske Lazne. You leave the hotel, go straight into the forest, walk along the forest paths, enjoy the wonderful air. We don’t have such air in the Middle East. Breakfast and dinner are quite good. The staff is polite and attentive. Not everyone speaks Russian, but they generally understand it. Cleaning was done precisely. Wellness treatments really help, especially when combined with proper intake of water rich in magnesium and other magical minerals. Yes, they help! We did not suffer from any special diseases, however, like many not too young programmers, our legs quickly got tired from walking. And two weeks later we were already walking briskly through the forests and along the wonderful streets of Lazne, hour after hour, without feeling tired. Miracles. The hotel is located on a hill, so you need good legs to get to the springs in the Colonnade or in the park and then climb back. But this is not a problem - if someone does not like walking, they can use the shuttle, 20 CZK per trip, runs every 2 hours.Negatives
