I really liked the hotel, which resembles a castle. The hotel is located on a hill in Marianske Lazne, surrounded by forest. From the window of the room you can see amazing views, charming landscapes even in winter. beauty! Free minibus to the city center according to schedule. The hotel has a beautiful interior design, chic New Year's decorations. There were a lot of paintings, sometimes I felt like I was in an art gallery :) I liked the friendly attitude of the hotel staff. Very tasty varied food, desserts - just wow. Thanks to the chef, in those days when I watched him in the restaurant, the dishes were incredibly tasty. Quite a cozy room with all amenities. Luxurious wellness center - swimming pool and sauna world. There is a gym on the premises with sufficient equipment. In the evenings, there are classical music concerts and retro discos in the hall. Huge gratitude! Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations.Negatives
There are few classical massages (for 12 days of rest, 34 paid procedures - only 2 such massages were prescribed). Not all the information about the procedures presented on the sanatoriums website is up-to-date (Pilates classes and yoga were not offered at the hotel). The doctor spent little time, silently filled out the card and gave it to the nurse. Mostly the hotel staff is Czech- and German-speaking; I didn’t meet a single English-speaking one. There were also Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking employees. In principle, there were no problems with communication. There is a weak hair dryer in the room.

Food in the restaurant is lukewarm. The distance between the tables is small and the aisles are narrow. Since most of the tables were reserved, we had to look for a free seat. The lady in the lobby bar was unfriendly, ignored the guests and pointedly didn't come to take the order. Unfortunately, the reception in Baleo is occupied from 12 p.m. and there is no possibility to order a massage, there are no free appointments. Ordered 2 hours of SaunaWorld for 24 euros per person, but there were so many guests that it was impossible to relax properly. The towels in the room had holes. The mattresses are saggy and uncomfortable, hence the back pain. We will not be coming to this hotel again

Equipment not up to date: a single usable socket in the room hidden by furniture, disposable plastic cups for spring water and drinking water in the sauna. 50% of the massage jets in the swimming pool do not work. Bath towels for the swimming pool are small and tattered. No tea maker in the room. Towards the end of the stay the information from housekeeping said that I should have asked for it. Services offered: overpriced parking fees of 12 euros daily. Full board does not include water with meals or water aerobics in the room, although spa treatments offered on the website usually start at 7 a.m. So get up at 6:30 a.m. every day while on vacation. Then it's time to wait in line and go through mass processing. For dry gas treatment you are literally lashed into garbage bags. Communication: Ukrainian staff in the Balneo are partly completely unqualified and disinterested. Except at the reception and at the bar, communication in German is not possible due to a lack of language skills. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain sufficient information on the questions asked. Without the support of Czech or Russian speaking guests you are lost. As a result of this and also due to the excessive workload on the employees during the spa treatments (one person has to cover up to 3 areas of application at the same time), they and the guests are disgruntled and frustrated. There is a lot of room for improvement in the organization. Employees in other areas are often unaccommodating to guests and avert their gaze. You get the impression that the guest has to make an effort to take care of the other person and not the other way around.

Beautiful hotel building, beautiful interior, large swimming pool with warm water and a Roman sauna. There is a small fitness studio. Entrance to Sauna-Welt twice for 2 hours. There weren't many people there, one hour was enough, the employee at the reception desk in the sauna kindly divided these 4 hours for us one by four. There is a bio-sauna, hot, steam, infrared devices, and a salt room. The food is excellent, breakfast and dinner are buffet style. If you arrive on Sunday and it seems to you that the food is tasteless and too salty, do not be upset, apparently a different cook comes on weekends. Everything will be fine for a long time. The treatment procedures are standard, the staff is polite. I especially liked the musical evenings and discos in the evenings in the lobby bar. I haven't danced like this for a long time! For walking there are numerous paths in the forest, which is just outside the hotel gates. Along one of them you can go to the city center, to the colonnade. Although the hotel is located on the outskirts and on the mountain, it is close to a large grocery store. And from the station you can walk in 25 minutes.Negatives
There are no complaints about the hotel, but salespeople in stores and bus drivers often behave rudely, especially if they hear Russian speech. The cashier at the station was especially rude to us. But this is a feature of Marianske Lazne. This is not the first time I have noticed this. In Karlovy Vary people are friendlier.

It’s a pity that there is no longer a bus from the hotel to the city center. The hotel is still located on a hill - it’s easy to go down into the city, but it’s difficult to go up. As for the staff, most of them are very pleasant and friendly, but there are some unpleasant young ladies, one of which sitting by the pool (rude). And another note - change the pillows - very uncomfortable.

To everything that I noted, we must add a good swimming pool with a sauna and cheap ones, plus there is also a “world of saunas” with a relaxation room. The hotel is located on the mountain .... for me this is a plus / I like to walk /. There is a transfer from the center hotel and back on a schedule.

The food is monotonous (especially breakfast). The pool showers are not clean enough (it is advisable to wash not only the floors but also the walls with detergents and disinfectants). Probably the staff don't have time. 😥

The staff in the spa area are sometimes very unfriendly and sometimes cheeky! The shuttle bus is too small and the driver (return trip) was very unfriendly and sometimes insulting and rude! The luggage could hardly be accommodated and was stored very poorly!

Sanatorium.com is not trustworthy. Having paid twice for the journey from the hotel to the house, we did not receive the money 90EUR back. All receipts for payment were presented. We called and emailed twice. No result, no answer, no clarification. Therefore, we do not recommend this company.
