We vacationed in Karlovy Vary for the third time, I really like this wonderful city with its stunning architecture, history and, of course, healing thermal springs. On each visit, we climb the Diana observation tower, visit the butterfly house (just a delight), go to the monument to Peter the Great and the observation deck (get a little taste of history), and from there to the Deer Leap (chamois sculpture and observation gazebo). I also recommend everyone to visit the Nativity House and the Bear Museum. There really is a Christmas atmosphere, the cafe is filled with delicious aromas of cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon. Everything is just not really fabulous! We went on the Geyser Dungeon excursion - I don’t recommend it. The tour is in Czech (although the guide also speaks German), they provide printed text in Russian and German, but the dungeon is dark and difficult to read. A radio guide would be good for such cases.
