Excellent location, intimacy and novelty of the hotel, wonderful cuisine (huge portions and beautiful presentation of custom-made dishes, their variety - fish, meat, rabbit, turkey, chicken, risotto, etc., dietary dishes, fruits and wonderful desserts). My compliments to the chef and gratitude for the always smiling and courteous attitude of the friendly restaurant staff! An excellent spa area with an interesting design solution: a 9x4 m pool and a jacuzzi with lighting, a waterfall that turns on three times an hour and countercurrents for underwater massage, a steam room and a Finnish sauna - everything is clean, well-groomed, and well-functioning. The set of procedures is typical for sanatoriums: pearl and dry carbon dioxide baths, paraffin and paraffin gloves, inhalations and lymphatic drainage, oxygen cocktail and ultrasound... Many thanks to the physiotherapeutic nurse Alla, who explained the mechanism of action and the expected effect of each manipulation and remembered everyone by name! Special thanks for the back massage to a fragile girl with strong hands! Gas injections are expertly administered by head nurse Tatyana. But not every spa hotel can boast of such a feature as a salt cave. This option is purely commercial (a session costs 120 CZK, which is approximately 4.5 euros), but very comfortable. Thanks to the nurse, Natalya became a caveman for 45 minutes almost every day with great pleasure. The rooms are clean, spacious and very warm. There is a minibar that can be conveniently used as a refrigerator. Large TV with several Russian-language channels. Free Wi-Fi (which, however, was rather weak). Friendly reception staff. I will definitely come back here when Mr. Doctor-Director of Iris gets better! And I will recommend this cool sanatorium to everyone I know. Confirms that I really liked it, the fact that, having initially paid for a two-week stay, I decided to stay at Iris for another week! Accommodation manager Irina found an option for a decent room, managed to change the air ticket with an Aeroflot fine and - voilà (voila)! – I extended my drinking course and resort-sanatorium romance with Carlsbad for another 6 nights!Negatives
- The most important disadvantage: unfortunately, the head physician Yuri Onisko was ill during my stay (3 weeks of February 2017), but the choice of this particular sanatorium was largely due to the expectation of high-quality treatment by the doctor - according to numerous enthusiastic reviews on the Internet. Those doctors who were invited to a one-time reception of arriving guests from other hotels were not inclined to delve into the problems of the patients and without looking they prescribed procedures that then had to be cancelled. They never listened to me, and I came with bronchopulmonary problems and an asthmatic cough. - Unstable Wi-Fi that dropped out frequently. - Not a very good design of the shower cabins: the lack of a side and a narrow glass partition that did not cover the entire wall led to the fact that splashed water after taking a shower spread all over the floor.

К сожалению, в номерах, которые выходят на Садовую улицу, у нас нет кондиционеров, так как там не сильно жарко при высокой температуре на улице, но мы в будущем обязательно это исправим. На счет диетического питания, у нас оно есть и составляется нашим диетологом. К большому сожалению, когда Вы у нас отдыхали, она была на больничном. Блюда действительно есть жаренные, но они только для тех, кому не нужно придерживаться диеты, но для тех у кого строгая диета, так все вопросы в ресторане можно решить и попросить персонал приготовить блюда «на пару». Предложение действительно из 3-х блюд на обед и 3-х на ужин, но с марта у нас уже будет выбор из шести блюд, как на обед, так и на ужин. Мы надеемся еще раз Вас увидеть у нас в отеле. Stay at the IRIS 4* sanatorium from January 16 to January 26, 2017. I have already been to Karlovy Vary 5 times, there is something to compare with. A very professional doctor Yuri Ivanovich. Friendly manager Irina Khitrich - she found a room for my friend from Sweden in a very limited time and was always helpful during our stay. All medical staff and service employees also performed their duties very conscientiously. The hotel is VERY clean, there are no stains in the rooms, the linen is snow-white, the waiters never expressed dissatisfaction, the food is delicious, questions were always answered at the reception. EVERYONE is smiling!!! This is so unusual and pleasant. I really want to come again to the IRIS 4* hotel and will recommend it to other people.Negatives

IRIS was chosen because of the doctor - Onisko Yuri Ivanovich. His approach to patients is informal, the selection of treatment is thoughtful, changes based on test results, and his recommendations have a positive effect. And the choice turned out to be very successful; IRIS, in terms of quality/price ratio, is certainly one of the best health institutions in Karlovy Vary. Excellent location in relation to drinking springs, quality of procedures (we especially recommend Dr. Alla and massage therapist Yaroslav), exemplary service staff, excellent food, swimming pool with sauna, small number of rooms - everything creates a cozy, homely atmosphere. Just a small detail: it wouldn’t hurt to put scales not only in the doctor’s office, but also in the pool room with a sauna. Many patients want to know how their own weight changes during treatment.

My husband and I vacationed at the Iris Hotel from January 1 to January 14, 2017. I would like to say that the holiday was a success, we were pleased with the organization of treatment, accommodation and the wonderful atmosphere created by the management and staff of the hotel. The mood was spoiled immediately after arriving at the hotel at 14:20 (manager Martin was on duty) - we checked in 1.5 hours later, did not apologize, but immediately insistently demanded payment. Sorry, but in Europe you always pay after checking in, when you see your room, unless other payment terms have been provided. They promised to put us in the largest room (we booked in advance and made a reservation). We still didn’t understand whether we lived in a large room or an ordinary one. We left on the day of Martin's duty again - he asked us to pay for 2 cups of coffee, which we did not drink at the bar. This is a small thing, but it leaves an unpleasant aftertaste if we are talking about the level of service. And you can’t sit at the reception with such an expression on your face. Very poor sound insulation. The food is very uneven, one day there was nothing, one day there was very little buffet at dinner and not all the dishes were to our liking. And if we are talking about service, then you need to explain to guests that they wear pajamas to the restaurant for breakfast and not the freshest sports suits with Iris usually doesn’t walk around with bare, unkempt legs in flip-flops or slippers. If people don't respect themselves, then at least think about other hotel guests. The range of procedures is very limited when compared with other 4* hotels in Karlovy Vary in which we stayed, and all procedures are reduced in time by 10, 15 minutes. Oxygen therapy in all the hotels where we were -50 minutes - 1 hour, and here 25 minutes. Along with oxygen therapy, a vitamin cocktail is always given.Answer from Spa Hotel Iris

И не только у нас, но и почти во всех отелях в Карловых Варах. Вы ответили, что хотите сначала посмотреть номер, а уже потом оплатить. Вам это разрешили сделать. Насколько мы поняли, претензий к номеру у Вас не возникло. На Ваш счет было записано два кофе, Вы сначала не хотели признаваться в этом, но в итоге признали, что кофе все-таки выпили.
