To which they answered: You need to go to the pharmacy!!!!!! This is despite the fact that I am in a sanatorium, and not in a rest home! And he applied not in the daytime, but in the evening, when pharmacies are closed! And anyway, why would there be a nurse on duty? After long “negotiations” and entering my appeal into the computer, I was given one paracetomol tablet!! A spoon of tar.....!

Overall, my stay at the sanatorium left an excellent impression. Very friendly staff, everyone speaks Russian and English, all procedures are on time, there was not a single slip-up in 2 weeks. All equipment in the SPA area is completely new. It's a pity that the outdoor pool is closed for renovation. The food is good, it is possible to follow a gentle diet. I was pleased that there was always delicious herbal tea at dinner. Excellent internet in the room, you can watch movies. Most of the hotel's holidaymakers are of retirement age, so the hotel is quiet and peaceful.Negatives
I was a little surprised that the diet for 2 weeks never included chicken or turkey, no poultry, only fish and beef or pork. With meat dishes, the choice is only from 2 options - meat or fish. On the 15th floor (in November) there was a strong wind from under the balcony door, and sometimes it was cold. Rooms up to the 5th floor are updated and more expensive. From the 6th - clean, 2 bathrooms, a good bath, but the living area itself deserves 3 stars.

Maids. When will they be taught to tuck in the sheets when changing linen and not to shout at each other from the rooms when cleaning. If untucked sheets can still be survived, then the absence of a chance to rest between procedures causes a lot of negativity.

The Thermal Hotel has a very good medical facility, many procedures, the entire treatment process is clearly streamlined and organized, with maximum convenience for clients and at the same time without unnecessary formalism, with a positive response to all requests and constant politeness. From my “attending physician” - the head physician of the sanatorium, Dr. Gistengerova, I received many useful recommendations regarding my health, and the procedures and drinking course were prescribed correctly. The hotel's convenient location relative to the springs and all the attractions of Karlovy Vary; from the balcony of my room there was a magnificent view of the city. In the restaurant, the numbered diets are not strictly followed (the dishes at table number 2 included pepper, for example), but the choice of dishes is large and you could always find delicious food acceptable to your diagnosis. The nutritionist takes into account all comments and, if desired, you can receive a separate very dietary meal. Conveniently, breakfast, lunch and dinner last 3 hours. There are no complaints about the cleaning of the room and the work of the reception desk. Nice indoor pool.Negatives
The hotel, which by all indications should operate under the concept “Adults Only (from 15-16 years old),” welcomes a large number of families with children of all ages; for reasons of “political correctness,” I will not specify where these families are from. Parents are in no way obliged to monitor their children; as a result, they play and make noise everywhere and often unattended, including in the restaurant and swimming pool (fortunately they were not present at the procedures). Children take food from the buffet with their hands and there is a “disgusting” around their tables, which is not pleasant to look at, and the waiters do not have time to clean up. The waiters, as well as other hotel staff, are clearly ordered to endure all this; comments are made by tourists who cannot stand it. Alas, due to the hotel’s obvious focus on a certain category of tourists, I will choose another hotel if I go to Karlovy Vary again, which is a shame, since there are no other reasons not to choose this hotel. But when receiving treatment and relaxing at a European resort, an adult traveling without children wants peace and a European atmosphere.

I received a set of health procedures prescribed by a doctor in accordance with my health problems, plus free use of the hotel’s own indoor swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, etc. Living conditions are quite decent, corresponding to 4 stars. The Thermal sanatorium is located in a picturesque location in Karlovy Vary. Everything is organized at the highest level, the staff is friendly, very responsive, always trying to help you. I especially want to mention the swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Having been there, I received pleasure and relief from chronic fatigue. We were very pleased with our vacation, it was our first time at the Termal Hotel, just like in Karlovy Vary, we were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort of our stay and the approach to treatment in this hotel. The doctor is a very pleasant and intelligent woman, I thank her very much for her attitude towards us and, most importantly, for the correct and well-coordinated treatment. The food is excellent, despite the fact that there is a buffet all day, the dishes are constantly monitored by a dietician, a large selection of salads, drinks, everything was served very, very tasty. The room overlooked the backyard, without a balcony, but this did not cause discomfort, considering that we lived on the 12th floor, it was even good that there was no balcony, but the room had huge windows, a very interesting hotel. Thank you very much to all the staff at Thermal.
