Thank you for your relaxation and treatment at the Thermal Hotel. We were in Karlovy Vary for the first time and for quite a long time (16 days) and will definitely plan to come again. We liked everything: from the hassle-free travel booking with the necessary information for us, accommodation in a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the city, hotel services, and, of course, medical care. All hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. We were also pleased that the hotel is being renovated little by little, this gives us hope for an even more comfortable stay at the hotel next time. The buffet food was always tasty and varied, and the restaurant was very calm. The medical staff exceeded all expectations. The procedures prescribed by a competent doctor were carried out at exactly the appointed time, with high quality and care. The city is incredibly beautiful, there are wonderful places for walking and entertainment, but for this you need both your desire and the information that we received from advertising on the city streets, from friends and on the Internet. We recommend this combination of relaxation and treatment for those who need medical procedures and accumulation of health for the next long time.Negatives

Or rather, it seems to be there, but there is no cooling effect (what works, what doesn’t). The outdoor pool has been closed for a long time. There is a desire to change the hotel, since every year (2014 - 2018 we are vacationing at the Thermal Sanatorium) the negativity becomes more and more.

No one warned that neither the baths nor the swimming pool were working in the sanatorium; there was a fire in August 2107. The entire spa complex is closed. Therapeutic procedures along with the SPA complex were for me the main advantage of this hotel. Came here for the third time. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I won't go here again.

The doctor’s appointment had to be redone because the appointment did not correspond to the capabilities of the sanatorium. Before going to the doctor, it is advisable to re-read the book in the room with explanations of what procedures are possible. The ventilation in the sanatorium is not up to standard and if one person smokes, it spreads throughout the entire floor. If a person does not smoke, it can ruin his vacation. Ask for a room where there is no smell of smoking. At our request, the smoker was found and moved, but others smoked too and sometimes the smell wafted into the room at night and in the morning. Before leaving the sanatorium there is a great place for smokers, but some did not want to go out and smoked in the room and probably on the balcony too. In the area of floor -1, where the dining room is, someone smokes constantly and when they go out to eat, they almost always smell of smoke. For some reason the Turkish bath was not working during the entire stay. I noticed that the jacuzzi was great, but the excess of chlorine negated the treatment, I began to wheeze and felt like I had burned my lungs with chlorine.

Rooms: but hotel class 2: old furniture, floor coverings - everything from the time of construction. The plumbing is satisfactory, but there is a strong sewer smell. Cleaning is often bad. sometimes they don’t even take out the trash, it feels like they’re just vacuuming. There are no discounts for regular customers (this is my third time). You are allowed to go naked to the sauna and hammam - it's not a pleasant sight. At the reception they said this is the norm. Prices have increased compared to last year (although many hotels have reduced prices), and those tourists who are traveling not for the first time are sent discount offers.. Conclusion: next year, if nothing changes for the better, we will go to another hotel .

It’s good that, at my complaint and request, they added one free general massage procedure.

I have been coming to K.Vary for several years in a row. The last time was in April 2016. I am satisfied with the services provided by the Thermal Hotel. All procedures and meals are within one building, it’s convenient. There is a small swimming pool with colored water lighting and additional features in the form of a jacuzzi and a pebble path. saunas, etc. Access to the pool is not regulated and is available throughout the day. The quality of procedures corresponds to the sanatorium-resort profile of the hotel. The staff is attentive, polite, and communicates in acceptable Russian. Living conditions are no frills, but the rooms have everything you need. Purely. cleaning every day. regular change of linen. Food - buffet, decent range of dishes. The food is delicious. I am satisfied with everything, which is why I remain constant in my choice of hotel and without hesitation I can recommend it if I need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and slightly improve my physical condition, including the effect of mineral water therapy.

However, upon arrival on April 10, the reception asked to pay. The next day they agreed not to demand it. Upon departure on April 23, they again demanded payment. And again everything from the beginning. Okay, you can go! Dear colleagues, it is very unpleasant to prove something in the presence of other people. I'm not a beggar! We will pay whatever you need. The room was not very clean. The napkin was lying on the floor for 4 days. During the 10 days of our stay, the bedding was changed once. For dinner they only gave herbal tea, which I can’t drink, I prefer black. The price is rising every year.
