A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, walks, and recovery. Friendly attitude of the staff - nurses, waiters, reception attendants. Everyone understands and even speaks Russian - there is no language barrier. The hotel has a good swimming pool, there is a forest all around, and if it weren’t for the need to go to the city center for mineral water to the springs, you could completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle.Negatives
Upon arrival, we were placed in a standard room, although we had booked a superior room. This was explained by the hotel being overcrowded (but if I book a room, why is it occupied on the day of my arrival?). The next day we were moved to a comfortable room that completely satisfied us, but the start of our vacation was somewhat overshadowed. I had to remind the maid that the bed linen needed to be changed on the ninth day of my stay. I was pleasantly pleased with the Hotel’s convenient quiet location, luxurious interior, service (daily cleaning), attentive reception, and list of spa treatments. Despite the apparent remoteness of the hotel: everything is nearby - within walking distance of about 15-20 minutes. It is especially convenient to have paths in completely different directions (I counted at least four of them; I chose the path depending on the direction of the walk). And almost everyone passes through the forest! The air is incredible! There is a free shuttle for older people who don't want to walk :) in the hills. The sanatorium is wonderful! Location In a coniferous-mixed forest it gives a wonderful climate, unique soothing smells! The walk turns into pleasure! The treatment is not bad, it is only prescribed by a doctor and is done without the consent of the patient! The doctor is friendly. The food is a restaurant, it all depends on the cook, the big drawback is that they don’t serve seasonings for dinner that are served for breakfast, and for breakfast they are not needed at all, because... This is Breakfast, not dinner!!!! Little food is prepared, monotonous, a lot of Just canned food is used. The food is almost always cold. No Trays. You have to run around the hall with plates. Mineral water is poorly supplied. Wonderful pool! They clean up well! No air conditioning! This is a big drawback in the summer! The staff is responsive! Very calm, silence like in Paradise! All procedures, as in other hotels, are well known. The food is excellent. Dumplings with cottage cheese were in particular demand among me. It is necessary to note the location of the hotel. There are forests and silence all around. The place is unique. I would like to note the good work of sanatoriums.com in organizing transfers, both from Karlovy Vary airport to Marianske Lazne, and in the opposite direction. I didn’t like the treatment. First of all, the doctor who conducted the examination does not do it professionally. It feels like the prescriptions are not based on the profile of the disease, but simply to describe 15 procedures. We have completely different problems and quite serious ones. But alas, nothing good was prescribed. What was prescribed was done anyhow. There was no massage at all. We have something to compare with. We were in Karlovy Vary 2 times.
