I really liked the hotel. I was very impressed by the interior in the Modarn style. The location of the Monty hotel is far from the city, on a hill, surrounded by forest. The air is clean, no exhaust gases, quiet. Internally, the hotel is decorated in a modern castle style. Lots of paintings, brightly colored carpets, which improves your mood. The rooms have been renovated in European style and are distinguished by beautifully colored bright wallpaper. Perfectly clean bed linen, bathrobes and slippers. Daily room cleaning. The restaurant is beautifully designed, excellent food, lots of salads, fruits, drinks. Friendly staff service. The presence of saunas and a swimming pool additionally makes it possible to harden your body. All procedures are of good quality, from mud baths, pearl baths, massage, gas bags, injections, inhalations, lymphatic drainage massage, electropheresis. All these procedures bring great health benefits. I am very pleased with the hotel and the work of the staff. I'll definitely come next time. I can only write positive things about this hotel. Idyllic location and delicious food. Unfortunately, at the time I was there, the swimming pool was damaged by the storm. Instead, we were allowed to use the beautiful sauna every day free of charge. The Czech and international staff were very friendly. See you next time.Positives

I'm asthmatic, I was told it wasn't a problem, but there were old carpets everywhere and very dusty. It was disgusting. The staff during the treatments were very unfriendly and didn't explain anything to you. I needed my new asthma spray and went to the doctor, he didn't tell me later but when and where nothing happened. So we ended our stay and headed home. But it's definitely worth an experience, so no more Czech Republic.Positives

Hotel not recommended in Corona times. We had booked 14 days over Christmas and New Year. The first week was great. But then. From Monday onwards the dining room became full. More people came every day and the dining room was literally packed. We complained about this to the hotel manager on Monday and asked to sit in the restaurant, but was refused. We were assured that she would talk to the manager. Unfortunately it turned out that the good lady had two days off. On Wednesday things got really uncomfortable. There were strangers at the table, I have nothing against that during normal times, but in Corona times that doesn't have to be the case. The tables were so close together that we had to get up if someone wanted to go to the buffet and the staff had a hard time getting through. There were signs everywhere saying you should keep a distance of 2 meters and wear a face mask and gloves at the buffet. If someone went without one, the staff said nothing. After we spoke to the manager on Thursday and no agreement was reached, we decided to leave. So we lost 5 days. The sad thing is that there were still enough dining rooms available in the house. We had previously consulted sanatroriuns.com several times and were assured that Corona rules would be adhered to. Sanatoriums.com should control the hotels better.Positives

The hotel also charges a parking fee of EUR 10 per day - these costs were not disclosed when booking! There is no alternative parking nearby. SPA treatments - despite multiple additional requests from the hotel and Sanatorium.de - were scheduled after the hotel's presentation during the Christmas period - not after us. Requirement. We didn't get a doctor's appointment until December 27th (entry day - was December 24th), so we couldn't get the treatments we wanted/needed!...and that again - despite my extra request at the beginning of December! The staff was forced to keep "within limits" when clarifying the situation, ...but they weren't particularly friendly and helpful to us... - sometimes even arrogant! Treatments in Monty's SPA area cannot be compared with the other SPA hotels in Mariánské Lázně --- the quality and content of these treatments is, unfortunately, very questionable... for this reason we had booked the right treatments somewhere else this time! The stated "free" trip to Prague is only available on Thursdays (!), which was not announced to us when we booked. So it didn't fit into our stay plan! Communication by email with the hotel - is limited as the response is to us. Specific questions were formulated very poorly in German and did not contain any specific information requested. The food in the restaurant was OK, but you had to pay extra for drinks (including coffee and tea) at dinner - that wasn't stated when booking.Positives
