Poor medical facilities, staff are always angry and displeased. The appointments are done whatever you want, not what you need. Procedures last 15 minutes, which is very little for the money. They don’t know how to apply mud, they apply little, as if they brought it from home, you just get nervous. And there are no good specialists, and this is very important for people with problems. No massage, it’s better not to take exercise therapy. The food leaves much to be desired, but you won’t go hungry.

There is only one minus. For breakfast there is no coffee machine and you have to order coffee, although the waiters work great, but it is terribly inconvenient and there is no variety (cappuccino, Lato macchisto, etc.) for lunch and dinner only for payment, which is for 4+ star hotel is not acceptable 😔

The first question we were asked upon arrival was not “welcome” or “we are glad to see you”, but “we need your credit card”. There are no cutlery on the tables in the dining room; you have to ask for them. We were offered to pay for tea for dinner first at the reception (which we still have to walk to), and then they would give it to us. We waited 20 minutes for honey for tea and it was brought after several reminders. At the pool we were denied entry because we did not bring our registration card with us. “It’s strange, we’re in hotel robes and we have the keys to our room with us,” we said. But, alas... At the Paris restaurant they refused to serve us. They offered to first pay for our meals in this restaurant for the entire duration of our stay. After our payment is displayed on the computer, we will be accepted. When asked why we should pay for the entire stay, since we might not like it, we were offered to eat at Prague. We expressed all this and many other comments to the manager, but we did not continue to live in this hotel and on the second day, having paid, we left it and moved to another hotel, which we were satisfied with. In a word, the Soviet past takes its toll in “Imperial”....

My husband and I rested and took treatment in September. We really liked it. The rooms are clean. The food is superb. The medical staff is very friendly. My husband liked the water treatments. We will definitely come back to Imperial for gas injections.Negatives

Nutrition. I would prefer lunches and dinners a la carte. The work of waiters in a Prague restaurant requires perfection. Room cleaning did not meet my requirements for cleanliness every day. Lack of electric kettles and tea sets in the rooms. Tariffs for visiting the sports center (especially one-time use) are inflated.

Medical care at a very high level; I liked the massage and mineral baths the most. The staff speaks Russian sufficiently. The spa reception works disgustingly. The schedule of procedures is extremely inconvenient. You start to rush and get nervous in order to fulfill all the doctor’s orders; you don’t have time to drink water or have lunch. I would like a more thorough implementation of the procedures, which are often carried out too formally, reminiscent of the worst examples of Soviet clinics!

from April 19 to May 4 - first time in Karlovy Vary and at the Imperial Hotel)..despite the cold and rainy weather - only positive!!!..starting with transfer from Prague - comfortable car (Mersedes) to the hotel, polite ,Russian-speaking driver...excellent welcome at the reception - with a glass of champagne or juice)..excellent room, with views of the mountains and the city...the rooms were cleaned every day and towels were changed..on the same day a doctor's visit and appointment of treatment..time of procedures exactly on time and according to schedule..(gas injections, pearl baths, mud, paraffin, etc. etc.)... Prague restaurant (in the hotel) on a buffet basis, with a wide variety of food (pork, chicken, rabbit, venison, beef, fish of various types), various side dishes, soups, fresh vegetables and fruits, tea, coffee and even desserts that I couldn’t refuse).. Imperial club, cafe... cable car and buses.. and water. ..and the air..mmm..all for the benefit and health..next time only to Imperial and for 3 weeks)) Thanks to the entire Sanatoriums team for their work, precision and diligence!!!Negatives

Accommodated at Villa Hoffmann. The room is clean, high ceilings, beautiful view from the window. To move to the Imperial Hotel, where breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as medical procedures took place, you need to take short walks in the fresh air, which was always a pleasure. The location of the sanatorium is ideal - surrounded by beautiful nature and a well-kept park, 5 minutes to the springs. walk down the street, by cable car 1 min., in 15-20 min. Free travel on buses No. 13 and No. 2 (you just show your sanatorium book) you can get to the supermarket, shopping center, train station. We are very grateful to the receptionist who helped us on April 29, 2017. rebook bus tickets and print out boarding passes for the plane, as a result of which we were not late for the flight, which was rescheduled 2 hours earlier.Negatives
My husband and I paid when booking for 14 days of stay: 36 procedures, 3 doctor’s examinations, laboratory tests for each. We arrived at the sanatorium on Sunday evening and only made an appointment for Tuesday. but on Monday we were assigned at the spa reception to undergo 2 treatment procedures each at their choice. In fact, we received: 2 doctor’s examinations, no laboratory tests, the doctor prescribed 35 procedures for me, 30 for my husband (plus we underwent 2 procedures each without a doctor’s prescription). They started taking the drinking regime only on Tuesday, as prescribed by the doctor. We were accommodated on the third floor of Villa Hoffman without an elevator, which was difficult with sore legs and cardiac arrhythmia. The bathroom lacks a bath curtain and hooks to hang clothes.
