The location of the sanatorium is excellent, all sources are nearby. The very center of the resort area. The room is spacious, with everything you need in it: a refrigerator, telephone, safe, armchairs and a small table. It would be nice to put small electric kettles in the room, or rent them out. I was very irritated by the light in the hallway of the room, which turns on automatically as soon as someone goes out there. If one of the guests goes to the toilet at night, then a bright light immediately hits the other’s eyes. The same type of problem occurs in the corridors of the sanatorium. The light is powered by movement. If it stops, it goes out immediately. In 11 days the bed linen was not changed even once. Towels are changed 2 times a week.

We rested and received treatment in Karlovy Vary for the first time. We liked the sanatorium and were pleasantly surprised. We were accommodated in a nice spacious room that matched the description. We went to see Dr. Vladimir Polovka. He discussed all the procedures with us in detail. We were satisfied with the treatment, and this is the most important thing. The food corresponds to the sanatorium purpose. The staff is polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is the best of the best. The sanatorium corresponds to 3*. The girls at the reception are constantly (this is no exaggeration) looking at the computer and clicking on the keyboard, so they are very reluctant to tear themselves away from this activity and perceive the guests’ desire to get an answer to their questions with obvious displeasure on their faces. We asked the receptionist to wake us up by phone at 5 am on the day of departure, the girl promised and even wrote down our request, but did not wake us up. One more thing: the staff in the dining room are quite rude, and the toilet in the room smells bad, although it is cleaned regularly.

Of course, there is a negative side to the food menu. It seems that they are treating diabetes, but the food does not at all correspond to the ninth table. Every day there were potatoes or pasta as side dishes, I tried once to ask to replace the potatoes with buckwheat, where I received the answer that potatoes can be eaten, but I, as a doctor, know that it is very, very possible rarely, but not every day. It seems to be the season for vegetables and fruits, but there has never been any fresh fruit, even for additional nutrition for diabetics. Every day, for additional nutrition, a sandwich with sausage or cheese. On the common table, on the third day, canned compote, and for diabetics, sometimes there was not even tea anymore. The dietitian should probably participate in the wishes of vacationers, and when drawing up the menu, do not forget about diabetics
