It was also our first time in Marianske Lazne and we were not mistaken in choosing a hotel, we really liked everything!!! They met us and put us in our room, quickly showed and told us everything, we parked the car in the city parking lot, located 300 meters from the hotel. Everything in the hotel is new: beds, mattresses, furniture, carpeting; clean, cozy, very easy to navigate, there are signs everywhere for all the necessary procedures and many elevators. The hotel was less than half filled with vacationers, so it was quiet and peaceful in the restaurant and during the procedures. At this time there were few vacationers, it was cold at the resort.....+ 5 - +8 °, there was still snow in the fields and in the forest in places. We had a conversation with doctor V. Knedlikova, a very attentive and responsive doctor who prescribed procedures that suited us. The procedures were done in good faith, the medical staff is very friendly, they speak Russian and German! It’s only a five-minute walk to the colonnade with the springs, the time of the procedures is designed so that you have time to go drink water before meals and before the procedures; after 15.00 there were no more procedures. I really liked the restaurant and the quality of the dishes offered, everything was very tasty, the choice was excellent: soups, side dishes, salads, meat dishes,.....(there was a very tender beef goulash, baked pork, stewed ribs, turkey, chicken, duck, rabbit . . In the restaurant during meals you can order beer and wine for a fee, draft beer 0.5 costs 2 €, payment upon departure from the hotel. On Sunday we drove on our own to Karlovy Vary, about 50 km, there is paid parking near the center. For those who want to visit the Russian Orthodox Church, it is better to park downstairs, near the center; there is no parking next to the Temple! On Christmas Day, the extra-charge festive dinner featured festive napkins and music in the restaurant during dinner. Nobody understood the idea of the holiday. A carbon dioxide dry bath is also a procedure - like a semi-procedure - only a bag is put on up to the waist, while this procedure should be applied to the entire body (again, from the experience of other sanatoriums). Treatment is everything. The tests are not taken on the first day and are obtained days later; the meaning of the tests is not clear.
