Humboldt hotel is located in the center of Karlovy Vary, opposite the picturesque Dvorak Garden, next to the spring 12 and 15 (snake). The hotel is clean, comfortable, medical workers are professional and have an individual approach to each patient. There is a large selection of procedures and are performed strictly according to schedule. The food is delicious and varied, I personally really enjoyed the pastries and the wonderful Wednesday dinner with candles and live music. I would like to say a huge thank you to the transfer from Prague to Karlovy Vary. My plane from London was delayed by almost 10 hours, but the transfer met me at the airport and brought me to the hotel around midnight. The excursions from sanatorium.com were interesting and educational.Negatives

The rooms are clean and bright. The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff is wonderful, when we had a problem with our accommodation, they solved everything for us very quickly and without any problems. It was also nice to sit on the terrace; the presence of a ramp and a garage was also important. The funny thing is that the hotel's website states that this building as a villa was built for Alexander von Humboldt in 1872, while this famous scientist and explorer died back in 1869.Negatives
My complaint is no longer with the hotel, but with the site. The video about room categories in the apartment category shows a room with two bedrooms, while such a room is only available there in a single copy. All other apartments consist of one bedroom and an additional room with a sofa. The sofa folds out, but it is almost impossible to sleep on it. It’s good that the hotel accommodated us and moved us to this very “presidential apartment”. There is no need to mislead people. And second. Our tour includes 2 doctor’s examinations, just like in Sanssoussi, but in fact there was only one examination. There is no second inspection there, I clarified this issue with the staff. And at the end of your stay you will not receive a doctor's report, as was the case again in Sansoussi. Well, a little detail: I didn’t have enough hours in the restaurant, because I had to keep track of the time so as not to miss the procedure. I couldn't carry my phone with me all the time. I asked the reception to change the bed linen, they assured me that everything would be done, but the linen was never changed. In the wellness center, when visiting the pool, you now need to take a towel from your room, and in 2018 and 2017, towels were provided directly in the wellness center. I was put in a corner room. Small but cozy, but outside the window during my stay, they began to carry out renovation work on the facade of the hotel building. I had to go to reception. This issue has been resolved, but if such work is planned, why put a person in such a room, especially if the guest came not only to live, but also to undergo treatment. There is no negativity as such. There are minor flaws. One of them: minor problems with communication between staff and guests and with their services. Example: upon arrival there was no robe in the room. I contacted the reception twice, but the issue was resolved only a day later, after the third request.
