From 09/03/17 to 09/12/2017, I was in this hotel and in Karlovy Vary in general for the first time. I really liked the hotel, great location - all sources are within walking distance, a few meters away is a shopping street where you can buy souvenirs, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes... The food in the restaurant is quite decent, it’s hard to stay hungry, fruits, pastries. Hotel staff very friendly, responsive, understanding and speaks Russian, starting with the cleaning lady and ending with the medical staff. I really liked the hotel, I was very pleased with my stay and would be very happy to return to Karlovy Vary and to the Humboldt Park Hotel & Spa again. I recommend!!!Negatives

There is no negativity inside the hotel. The only thing that disturbed the peace, especially at night, was the roar from a poorly secured underground utility hatch located on the roadway in front of the hotel. This issue needs to be resolved.

The impression of the restaurant is mixed: one team, consisting of younger ones, works well and cooks tastier. The other team, where the people are older, cooks worse and is not very friendly (this especially applies to the senior waitress). old TVs that didn’t work, we had to call staff all the time and struggle to get a replacement for three days. I have never seen such televisions anywhere in the world; many vacationers complained. This significantly ruined my stay at the hotel and I have no desire to go there again

On August 13, we arrived at the Humboldt Spa Hotel and immediately found ourselves in an atmosphere of warm welcome, attention and care for us. Throughout the rest and treatment, we were accompanied by responsive and professional people. Special thanks and gratitude to all the medical staff: the doctor, the head nurse and the nurses who carefully and carefully carried out the prescribed procedures. The restaurant in the spa hotel surprised us with its interior, variety and quality of dishes. The head cook came into the room more than once and asked if everything was okay. I would like to say that the first impression of the hotel is positive! But then you come across the intricacies of the hotel’s operation and understand - this is not 4 stars!!! This doesn't even qualify for 3!!! Lunch with 3 meals on the first day of arrival and on the day of departure was denied 😲 A trifle, not pleasant😏 The only person I want to say thank you to is the nurses working on the 2nd floor. In 2 weeks, the bed was changed only 1 time, and that was only when they were asked for it 🙄 The service staff comes in without knocking, as if they were coming into their own home, and it doesn’t matter if you’re in the room or not! OUTSTANDING!!! The water in the pool is cold!!! The food is disgusting, with the exception of several times when it was edible ((((Lunch on the day of arrival with 3 meals a day is not included! This is the first time we encountered this! Even in a 3-star hotel they serve lunch! They let you into the dining room exactly on schedule! Several times We stood in a crowd at the door and waited until we were allowed to go in! It's like an army regime😏 CONCLUSION: we will NOT go there again and we DO NOT recommend it to others!!!

It is clear that the hotel has been renovated, has a beautiful interior, good bathrooms (mostly), comfortable beds, good linens. We booked 2 deluxe rooms. In practice, 1 room was provided, seemingly of the declared category, it even had air conditioning. But!!! in the hallway of the room there was a door to the next room. It was closed, but all sounds, even quiet speech, and all the smells of salads and sounds of dishes, were audible. As for the second number. It was a 1-room apartment, no air conditioning, with a balcony, and a cracked sink in the bathroom. As for food. It’s not clear how it’s possible to cook something so tasteless out of good ingredients. The dinner portions are small. One evening they served sour minced meat cutlets. People at the neighboring tables, who also took this dish, complained, to which they were told that it was just sour cheese in the cutlets. There is little fruit. About medical treatment. We arrived on Friday for only 7 days, expecting to see the doctor the next day. Let's daydream! The doctor saw me at 13:00 on Sunday. Until this time, we didn’t even know what kind of water to drink. The procedures are excellent in most cases, but!!! Massage is something!!! it felt like a large amount of oil was being smeared across my back with my fingers. About the pool. On the 6th floor there is a hammam, sauna, swimming pool, several sun loungers, and a cooler with hot and cold water. Everything is convenient. There were days when the floor was simply not wiped. We had to walk on very damp tiles. Climate. Many people complained that their blood pressure rose and they had headaches.

Due to the festival and the weekly disco with crazy music from 23-00 to 6-00 in the morning, I practically did not sleep whole week. But you need to choose the time of rest and treatment wisely. You need to know that you cannot stay in this hotel at the beginning of July.
