The hotel is headed by a new manager, Tomas Kral, who makes great and successful efforts to eliminate the small roughness that always and inevitably arise in any hotel. The work of the maids deserves some criticism, as, in my opinion, they do not change linen, give out shampoos, etc., in a timely manner. Overall about the hotel: excellent value for money. They immediately made a schedule of procedures. The next morning, within 10 minutes, the head nurse completed the termination by the clock. The reception downstairs provides immediate assistance on any issue. My shower door stopped moving (which I wasn’t surprised at because everything really burns and explodes in my hands). Yuri, the receptionist didn’t call a technician for 2 days, but ran and did everything himself in 5 minutes. From the farthest corner of Karlovy Vary (where no tourist, even a Russian, has ever set foot) I snatched a crystal decanter weighing 7 kilograms. Dear Yuri, having already noticed from the window my attempts to storm the stairs, intercepted (!) the little bag and dashingly carried it playfully to the room. It seems like he shouldn’t. But I think that if they had not repeated it, the cook would have eaten it. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect, cleaning was done daily. Towels and bed linen were changed upon request. The staff at the balneological center was simply superb. They tried to make everything convenient and quick for you. The head nurse (unfortunately, I didn’t ask her name) is a very knowledgeable and knowledgeable person, she makes decisions quickly, controls the situation and is always (!) in a great mood. Note that with our brother this is not always easy! There were a couple of patients who were ready to demand satisfaction for any reason. The despair and anger of one of them about the shortage of puff pastries is difficult to forget. But if he suddenly looked at himself once in a full-length mirror and without clothes, I think that the shortage dessert would already be viewed very positively. By the way, I completely forgot to write that the hotel is fully equipped with wonderful handmade furniture from precious woods and expensive fabrics on the chairs, curtains even in the balneo. And the lamps made of cast bronze and lamps are not there for beauty, but they all function. I will definitely come, and not alone, but with a crowd of friends! By the way, the wrist joint on my right hand is again like when I was 18! I wish all the employees of the Humbolt Hotel good luck, only pleasant clients and higher salaries, and thank you very much to the owners for the taste and love in the design of the hotel, for the real paintings in the rooms, for the trained staff and for the respect for their business.

Dinners were also varied - vegetables, salads, soups, side dishes. For meat lovers, at least two dishes to choose from, steamed fish daily. It's hard to stay hungry. Yes, and I would like to note that people come to this hotel, among other things, for weight correction programs, about which there is information on the hotel’s website, so of course they won’t serve barbecue here))) Our family really liked everything about the food. Many thanks to the restaurant staff for their kindness. By the way, if you need to replace dinner with lunch, then just notify the reception or waiters at the restaurant about this. The heating works so well that we almost had to turn it off, and they kept the windows ajar all the time. The room was cleaned daily, efficiently (apparently, the incident described below by Andrey had an effect. By the way, after reading this review, I was already thinking about canceling the reservation, but I decided to give the hotel a chance, and I did the right thing). Bed linen is changed on a schedule, every 4 days; If you want to change towels, throw them on the bathroom floor. A robe and slippers are provided for the entire stay (mine gave up on the second day, as soon as I mentioned it, the maid immediately brought new ones). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, if you need anything, ask at the reception, they will always help you. Buffet, everyone chooses what they want, the choice is quite varied, so you definitely won’t be able to lose weight here, just as it didn’t work out for us (even vice versa). By the way, it seemed that there were several shifts working in the kitchen (each lasting a couple of days), which was reflected in the choice of dishes (on some days the choice was richer and more varied than on others).
