Our rooms were simply wonderful, large and comfortable. Honey. the staff is just super. The food was 4 stars. Ordered dishes have never been repeated in 14 days. The hotel is good. We were supposed to get two visits with the doctor according to our package but only saw the doctor once. No kettle in the room to make tea The restaurant starts closing 30 mins before official closing time. Sometime we had no time to get tea and dessert because it was already put away. It wasn't always possible to get to the restaurant earlier due to procedures schedule but clearing everything 30 mins before closure is a somewhat unacceptable. I would like to recommend making a safer descent into the pool and jacuzzi, ladders made of metal tubes (it’s very inconvenient and “scary” to go into the water (my legs slip and I was afraid to fall) since I’m an elderly woman and “large”, it would be advisable to make at least small steps (instead of round pipes)! And the New Year’s banquet didn’t really make an impression, I would have liked real entertainment (a performance or concert) on the holiday, but the “casino” is not a New Year’s program (someone is standing at the roulette table, someone is at the jackpot), but I wanted real HOLIDAY, even with an additional payment, and at the banquet “strangely” even on New Year’s for free only a “glass” of champagne at the beginning of the “holiday” and at the end, the rest is for a fee! Alexey and Ian - they were always attentive to all requests and comments. The medical staff also deserves words of admiration: Radka, Alina, Milada, Martina, Veronika worked out all the procedures perfectly, not for the sake of a tick on a piece of paper, but so that the patients would no longer feel like patients, but would become ordinary vacationers. What somewhat overshadowed the holiday was the lack of rooms for medical procedures. Two masseuses in one office and paraffin in the corridor...... And one more thing. The first week (from August 14) there was an amazing chef! We have never eaten such delicious food in any hotel. But in the second week the chef changed and we “happily” began to lose kilograms, leaving the dishes almost untouched. We couldn’t remain silent after reading Mr. Baranov’s review. His information about bruises after injections is not true. Radka and Alina are great at giving gas injections. For certain reasons, I cannot here tell this gentleman the hotel where he should go for hematomas that have not gone away within a month. One of the reasons why I am going to come again to this hotel (and I have something to compare with after being in Karlovy Vary five times) is the golden hands of the medical staff. We stayed at the hotel from November 24 to December 6. The first time we vacationed in Karlovy Vary, we registered on the Sanatoriums website. com. Everything really works and is organized at the highest level. The Humboldt Hotel is a fairy tale that is created for us, vacationers, by management, managers, and the entire team with their impeccable work and good attitude towards vacationers. The manager Yuri met us at the reception and checked us in - sensitive, attentive and responsive. He immediately responded to our timid wishes to have lunch (we have gastrointestinal problems and need to eat often) and organized everything in the restaurant, despite the fact that lunch time was over. In the treatment department, procedures are clearly distributed, they treat vacationers with respect, they greet them with a smile, they help carefully, they ask ten times “is everything okay, is the water warm, is it comfortable in the gas bag, is the person comfortable during the procedure,” etc. Everyone is greeted joyfully, escorted to procedures, helped, and no one is abandoned, everyone is given attention. It’s a pleasure to visit the restaurant, the menu is excellent: a variety of meat dishes (beef, pork, poultry available), an assortment of vegetable dishes and cuts, and various side dishes. Every day fish, fruits, pastries. Everything is delicious, there is a lot of everything, the cook is excellent, the pastries are gorgeous. The waitresses are polite and smiling. Hotel guests are always greeted, and their good wishes make the mood flow. The room cleaning is excellent - everything is spotlessly clean, they are cleaned when guests are undergoing procedures. It's a pleasure to be in any corner of the hotel. But while we were on vacation, an unexpected situation happened. They called an ambulance for my husband, I was very scared, but Yuri was there and helped, he not only translated and explained our situation to the doctors, but supported and reassured me, saying “I’m a swami, don’t worry, pull yourself together, call us from the hospital, Don’t worry, we’ll solve everything, we’ll help.” And I wasn’t afraid in another country, where there was a language barrier, its own rules, Yuri was nearby, a man with a capital letter, and high moral qualities. This is a worthy act and an example for everyone! Everything worked out for us, we were released from the hospital, everything went away, everyone was worried about us and supported us. We continued to relax at the hotel, but we were already drinking healing water from the springs in moderation, we were afraid of an exacerbation. The girls from the medical department restored the missed procedures for us, we didn’t have to ask or persuade anyone, everyone treated us with understanding and care. After this situation, I concluded that thanks to the organizational skills of the hotel director, a well-chosen team, and the high moral qualities of the employees, our stay at the Humboldt Hotel seems like a real fairy tale.
