It's a shame that you can't always go to the swimming pool, for example because of sports tomorrow. You should perhaps extend the time for the swimming and sauna area until 11 p.m. The sauna area should have been renovated a long time ago. You can't sit on the terrace for the bar because there aren't enough tables. The terrace is too close to the car parking lot and doesn't make a good impression. Hotel has 4 stars and so a good place with a view, but unfortunately you can't enjoy it from the bar/terrace. Car parking 10.00 euros per day is too expensive. Next door is the Hotel Richmond (also 4 stars) and the packing space there only costs 4.50 euros.Positives

Thank you Sanatoriums for your vacation! In general, this is a good 3-star resort. The work of the staff brings it to somewhere around 3.5-4. Everyone is very polite, responsive and pleasant. This greatly brightens up your stay and allows you to close your eyes to some of the disadvantages. The rooms resemble the old design from the USSR, but everything is clean, new showers, cleaning every morning. The Blue House building has a great view from the window; you can go out onto the balcony and drink coffee while admiring nature. Delicious pastries and meat (one of the minuses is that this is probably the only tasty thing on the menu). Excellent location for those who like tranquility and who are willing to walk a lot. The procedures are scattered across different buildings and you have to run back and forth a lot. The historic city center can be reached on foot or by bus (ticket included in the price). I would recommend this resort for those who just want to relax a little and have a change of scenery. 10 days turned out to be almost ideal for us; by the end we were even a little tired and a little bored. The sanatorium is good for those who want to treat their musculoskeletal system. Those who suffer from stomach problems are better off looking at something else. Another kitchen could improve this situation. I hope it will change for the better in the future.Negatives
The biggest minus is probably the food. The cuisine is quite mediocre and very far from any diets. A lot of fatty and fried foods. The choice of dishes, it would seem, is not small, but there are practically none that are truly tasty. During the entire 10 days of our stay, the only liquid options were cream soups, some garlic and bean stews. I would not recommend this to those with stomach problems. It is difficult to say anything about treatment, because... Of all the procedures, most are more relaxing than healing. Good massages, mud wraps, electrical stimulation and some baths (for example, pearl). If desired, the procedures you like can be purchased separately, but this should preferably be done immediately upon registration, because everything will be occupied in a couple of days. Consultations with a doctor are rather useless and are necessary only once to compile a list of procedures. The nutritionist is simply terrible. The pleasant thing is that at least they didn’t charge us any extra money for such a consultation.Positives

I also want to write about a transfer from the airport in Prague to Karlovy Vary. At first we were looking for a driver who arrived only after 20 minutes. Nobody warned us that he might be late. We were running around the airport and didn't know what to do. And then we waited for passengers to arrive from another flight that arrived after us. In total we waited two hours.
