The doctor looked at the information on the computer from the previous stay, made changes based on my words, and that was the end of the appointment. I didn’t even measure the blood pressure of the hypertensive patient, citing the fact that the day before (the day before the doctor’s appointment, after the flight) the nurse measured the blood pressure. Obviously, I didn’t go to the follow-up examination. There is no point in attending gymnastics in the pool when it is taught by a young man (red-haired), unfortunately I don’t know his last name, I doubt that he was trained in this discipline. I was treated and rested in the Krivan sanatorium from February 2 to February 16. I am on vacation for the sixth year in a row and only in this sanatorium. I always have a single room, spacious and comfortable enough for one person. Cleaned every day, quite clean, towels changed almost daily, bed linen 3-4 times in 2 weeks, bathrobes upon request. I am always satisfied with the treatment and service of the staff. Good healing part. This year I had a very good and attentive doctor - Olga Makovskaya. She prescribed all the procedures that I wanted to receive. She told me everything about the test results and gave the necessary recommendations. The staff during the procedures are very friendly and always ready to help. There were no problems with the scheduling of procedures. The food always suits me too. The waiters Bogdan and Tatyana are great. Everything is always delivered and put away on time. It is very comfortable to relax and receive treatment in Krivan, because... Treatment: if it’s minus 10-15 outside, then the water in the pool is very cold, and warming up in the sauna is a separate procedure or costs money; all over the world, if you visit the pool, then the sauna is automatically included in the procedure. Gymnastics leaves much to be desired. I had to change procedures and completely abandon the pool.

Firstly, it was cold in the room, the radiators were not heated at all, on the second day we asked for a heater, although they provided it to us, and another minus of room 1414 was the ventilation, which turned on at about two in the morning and from that time on it periodically turned on and off. It was not very comfortable to sleep under such noise. The first week the food was rather poor. For breakfast you had to come in the front row, and if a little later, then there was no choice of hot food. The porridge is completely tasteless. They had no salt or sugar. For dinner the menu is made to order. There is plenty to choose from, but often the food was over-salted and the meat was tough. What meat was deliciously cooked was lamb with sweet sauce and fish dishes were also good, steamed cutlets with butter were also good. Now I want to say a few words about Dr. Spisakova Marketa. We were very unlucky with her. She received us while she was sick and had a cold. She prescribed procedures not only those that I wanted, but also those that I did not need. This would have been all right, but on the third day of our stay at the sanatorium, my friend and I caught a cold. Perhaps we even got infected from the doctor who saw us. When I came to ask her to cancel all the water treatments that she had prescribed, I came across a wall of incomprehension, she canceled everything for me, even the massages that helped me cope with the cough, I’m not even talking about individual inhalations, but here’s a Kneipp path, she stubbornly left it to me. I have never observed such unfriendliness and aggression from anyone else. The drinking regimen was prescribed without taking into account my illnesses. For me, the main thing is the bones, the back, after injury and surgery. If it weren’t for the doctor’s negative attitude, I could recommend the Krivan sanatorium for relaxation and treatment

The rooms are a bit small and the furniture is also old but clean. It's a shame that you can't order a specific room when making your reservation. The food is sufficient, the bread that was always missing was not OK. Or if you came to dinner a little later there was no dessert left. I recommend taking half board so that you can eat out sometimes. The hotel was very full over New Year's Eve, so the treatments were carried out quickly, quickly... The doctors aren't really interested in your problems or health, they just prescribe what suits them better. As a patient you simply have to know what you want and what is good for you, but this only works if you use something like this more often. Next time we'll be smarter.
