There is only one negative - the attitude of the head doctor who was my attending physician. There was a misunderstanding. The doctor on duty saw me on Saturday. All was good. She wrote down the date of the next doctor’s visit, and I asked if it was possible not to come if there were no questions? The doctor said it was possible. The schedule of procedures was very tight, there was always someone waiting in front of the doctor’s office, and I decided that I didn’t have to go - I liked everything. But a couple of days later the chief doctor himself called me and asked me to come for a follow-up appointment - he was on duty. Again, people were constantly sitting in front of the office, and I couldn’t get anywhere. But finally, around 6 pm, I got to him. I wanted to say that I have no problems or questions and everything is fine and I never expected the stream of abuse that fell upon me. The final point was what was heard in the back - Russians.... communists...((There are no words!! And it’s clear what emotions!!

Good day everyone. Having read many reviews about the sanatorium, I went with great caution. But I want to say, not everything is as bad as they say in the comments. Everything was pretty good. The main thing is the excellent location of the sanatorium to the springs and a good medical base. Quite friendly and always smiling staff. All issues can always be resolved by changing the number and changing procedures. The room is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily, bed linen is changed every 3 days, the robe can also be changed at any time without any problems. We go to a sanatorium primarily to get treatment, to relax and not to look for shortcomings. I have observed many vacationers who, when entering the dining room, do not say “Good afternoon” to the staff, after eating they do not even thank them (and in the Czech Republic this is customary), but they themselves begin to criticize, putting themselves on a higher level. In this case, you need to go to 5, maybe everything will be perfect for them there. Krivan's status is quite consistent with its price and quality. Regarding nutrition, it may be a little weak for some, but for 3 weeks I have never been hungry. After all, we go to a sanatorium not to overeat, but to treat the gastrointestinal tract. As a last resort, there is a supermarket not far away where you can buy everything you need and fruits, which according to many reviews are not enough, the prices are quite reasonable. Near the sanatorium the shop is more expensive. So, get treatment, relax, breathe fresh air and don’t worry about anything! Have a good holiday everyone!

There are also disadvantages to our holiday: 1. There was no fruit at all, although in other sanatoriums there was a lot and variety of them - according to conversations with my friends from the sanatorium: Tchaikovsky, Aura Palace. There were no compotes, jelly, or baked goods. 2. Very poor rations for those leaving for 2-3 day excursions: a bottle of water, bread, cheese and sausage, three slices each. A small pate, two wrinkled small apples.... that's all. No eggs, no yogurt....not even bread and only 3 slices.3. Leisure for vacationers in the evening has not been invented --- you can invite folk groups, as was the case in Marianske Lazne (March 2015).4. I was outraged by the smoking in the building in the restaurant and on the 1st floor.

We stayed at the Krivan Hotel, booked through the website sanatoriums.com, paid on the spot. The hotel was recommended by a friend, the choice is wonderful, we were convinced of this on the spot, comparing the location with other hotels. We were there for only 14 days, so about the effect of the min. It’s hard to say, but the effect of the procedures on the musculoskeletal system is wonderful, no doubt about it. The staff is very friendly and attentive, everyone speaks Russian. At first, the food seemed a little unusual, some were even actively indignant at the monotony of side dishes (always 4-6) and raw grated vegetables (4-6), but when asked what they wanted - they would cook for them, they could not answer. The food at the sanatorium in the first days of your stay was poor, very monotonous. During the second week it got better, the range of products for breakfast especially improved. During the entire stay there was never any fruit. Staff: very friendly and attentive. Doctor Belov: charming and very talkative. However, he did the examinations formally and did not even measure the weight. Compared to other doctors in sanatoriums in Karlovy Vary, he was absolutely indifferent to the patient. (possibly only to me). Only thanks to the work of the nurses, the impression of treatment remained positive!

We visited the Krivan - Karlovy Vary sanatorium for the second time. We like staying there. This time we arrived in December and were placed in a quiet room. Everything in the room was clean and quite comfortable. Courteous and friendly resort staff. I liked the course of treatment that was prescribed to us. My husband even thought that we had too many procedures. But as time has shown, quantity soon turned into quality and we felt the real effect of the treatment. Maybe if there were fewer procedures, we would have to wait longer for this effect. However, this is all strictly individual. We had half board: breakfast and dinner. We had enough food. We ended up in Krivan during Catholic Christmas. We were given a real celebration with a gala dinner, gifts and a concert. It was all unexpected and very pleasant. If we have the opportunity to come to Karlovy Vary again, we will definitely stay at the Krivan sanatorium.
