I’ll tell you about the unacceptable attitude of the director of the sanatorium towards me. You can write a novel. I booked a trip to the Krivan sanatorium from December 24 to January 6. I arrived at the sanatorium on Sunday around 12.00. I was placed in a corner room in the 3rd building on the 3rd floor. The room was very cold and the walls near the bed and near the table had deep cracks. The window with a balcony looked out onto the shaft of the courtyard. I complained to the reception about the cold in the room. A worker came, adjusted the operation of the air conditioner, looked at the battery and said that it would not heat up, because they had to do general repairs there. At the reception I was told that I should only contact them about relocation on Wednesday, i.e. from 24-27 the reservation department was not working. Regarding food, I had half board: breakfast and dinner. No one warned me that dinner is a holiday and cannot be replaced with lunch, because it is not equivalent. I asked for lunch on the day of arrival, since the road was long, I had not eaten anything for 12 hours and, with a bad stomach, I could not wait until dinner. After lunch, I went to the reception to pay for dinner. They tell me that the dinner is festive and costs 40 euros. And New Year's dinner will cost 100 euros. I thought that 40 euros for dinner was expensive and didn’t go. In the morning at breakfast, my tablemates informed me that Christmas dinner was included in my program and they could not demand additional payment from me. I went to clarify this issue at the reception. There was already another shift there. These workers went to the restaurant for clarification. In conclusion, they said that both dinners were included in my program. But I missed the Christmas dinner due to their fault, because they did not explain. Several times I contacted the office of the sanatoriums travel agency by phone with a complaint. They answered that their director would only be there after the holidays, i.e. December 27, and were advised to write a letter to the director of the travel agency. And he, on December 27, will contact the director of the sanatorium. And they advised me after the holidays to go to the director or the reservation department myself and try to resolve my issue, that is, they left me alone with my problems. I wrote a letter to the director of the travel agency. On Tuesday, December 26, after the procedures, I found the director in his office. He was unfriendly. At first I thought that he was not in the mood, but as we talked, I realized that he was not an intelligent and inadequate person who could not conduct a constructive dialogue with vacationers. I told him that the radiator in my room does not heat, and the air conditioner only heats the room, and it is very cold to wash in the bathroom. He was surprised that this could not happen! It turned out that I was lying. I offered to go up to the room and make sure. He called someone and said that they would connect it now. I asked to be moved to another room, because the walls in this room were cracked, as if after a bombing. I explained that I was from Donbass, my city was on the fire line and, despite the bombing, the walls in my apartment looked more intact than in the room. The director began to explain to me that the whole city stands on moving soil and there are cracks even in his office. I told him that I paid the sanatorium for my treatment, food and comfortable accommodation, but not for such a room. Then I raised a question about my program, about a missed dinner through no fault of my own, and asked to be compensated with at least one lunch. He was very angry that there could be no compensation! I have to pay for both Christmas dinner and New Year's dinner! He asked which company I booked through. I answered: “Through sanatoriums.com.” He waved his hand, and I quote: “These are problem guys. You pay them somewhere, but you come here and demand something here!” I don’t know who he meant by “you”, me alone, or everyone who books through this travel agency? To this I answered him that this was the second time this year I had come to this sanatorium and both times I only booked through this company and paid the entire amount at the reception along with the tourist tax. Judging by his reaction, he did not believe me. He talked to me as if I was his employee, had done something wrong to him and he was reprimanding me for it! I understand that the director is not competent in many matters. There is also no agreement between the reception staff and the restaurant. The reception staff do not know the program of the arriving vacationer. And the vacationer must, through other similar vacationers, find out what is required according to the program. After a “cordial” conversation with the director, I went up to my floor, the same employee was waiting for me there, who explained that it was impossible to connect the battery in the room, and the director knows about this. Now, I just don’t understand why the director made such a scene if he knows that the room is not suitable for living? On Wednesday, December 27, I went to the reservation department of the sanatorium and they gave me a warm room, without air conditioning, with a small bathroom, but I was happy. In the reservation department of the sanatorium, I was told that the sanatorium travel agency should have given me the program for my stay. By the way, they also didn’t understand why the reception tried to force me to pay for Christmas dinner, which is included in my program. I could only pay 10 euros for the lunch I ate. As compensation, I was given 2 entries to the pool, which cost 8 euros in total, and the missed dinner was 40 euros. In my opinion, the compensation is not equal. Out of 13 days of my treatment, I lost 3 days of my peace of mind, finding out those issues that should be resolved by the director of the sanatorium, reception staff and the travel agency sanatoriums.com. They cannot agree among themselves, but the person who came for treatment suffers, and paid more than a thousand euros for it. During the holiday 3 days, first of all, the travel agency had to quickly resolve all issues, and not wait for the end of the holidays. I travel a lot, but I have never seen such an attitude towards a tourist!

The bed in our room was not comfortable 😞. We needed to take a statement in German upon departure, the nurse sent us to the head doctor, but unfortunately she yelled at us and told us to come at 15:00, and at 12:00 we had to leave the hotel. But at the same time, she said that it was not her problem, it was in the 11th office. Then we went to another doctor, office 3, and she did it in 3 minutes without any problems!!!! In 3 minutes!!! It didn't even take 5 minutes! In general, of course, there is no longer any desire to return to this hotel, since first of all you are going there for treatment, and if such an incompetent attitude from the head of the doctor, then you don’t want to go to her next time. And the rest of the medical staff are great!
